Good morning. I'm sorry that you were offended by the article. I did read it and that is why I decided to share it here. Many people here talk about how much they love Kia and the different Kias they currently own (in addition to the Telluride they currently own or have on order). We are actually first-time Kia owners ourselves with a
Sportage and now have a Telluride on order. But some people are long-time fans/owners. In the article, there is a long list of Kias that have had issues and one of the statements is about recalls that people haven't had fixed. Sharing the article will help people review the list of Kias and check to see if they own one that has the recall. My goal is to be helpful. My understanding is that "click bait" is what companies do to get you to click on their website so they can raise their advertising rates. There is no benefit for me to increase clicks on NPR's site. NPR is a nonprofit organization. I don't own it. As a nonprofit, there are no shareholders or owners. So I have no interest in getting more clicks on the site. I'm truly wanting people who own Kias to read the article so they can see if this applies to them.
So I apologize if my sharing this article appeared non-helpful to you. I am not a pot-stirrer (you can look at my other posts if you so desire) and just try to be a helpful member of this community. I ask questions, I answer questions. I try and welcome new members. I like people's comments. I don't stir the pot, or at least not on purpose. Apparently I did with you today. That was not my intent and I apologize to you and anyone else if it appeared that way.
Have a great 2022 and I hope you have a great year with your Telluride, your family, your community, and this forum!
