Good and bad news. I went to the dealer today and he said he had just received the list of six cars he will be getting and was confirming that those in line for the next allocation still want them. Mine was on the list for the next allocation, so I confirmed I still want it, and he went and got the list to confirm I would be in this allocation, and confirmed the the options I ordered. I asked what happens next and the timeline, and he said it will be April before it is built and gets to the dealer. (Originally I was told 12 weeks when I ordered Nov. 15). I made him explain it to me again to try to understand why it would be an additional 2 months. I asked to look at the list of the ones he had coming in and the dates those were ordered (one had only an order number, no
VIN - and it will be in this month? While mine will get its order number today, and won't be in until April?) Needless to say, I still don't understand that, unless it was an order for a non SXP that he had an allocation for so slid an order into that empty slot. (ALL of the vehicles on the list were ordered vehicles.)
So...that's my update. Any more delays, and I won't be able to drive to my grand-daughter's graduation from nursing school in my new Telluride..
