If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Latest information on Ordering System(Kdealer/KFOS) starting Sept 2020

Tonight is when KFOS closes. Those that make the batch will get ETA's starting tomorrow/Wednesday.

This is the last KFOS allocation for 2022 Tellurides.

We may get an additional allocation on our weekly allocations but this is last from KFOS side

I think I'm going to cry, I really wanted a '22 and my order has not been picked up yet 😟

Good morning,

Do you know how they will go about ordering a 2023? Will it be first come first serve, or will the dealer go in line to each individual to order?

Thanks so much!

Well that sucks for us who really wanted a '22. Think I'll wait and see what happens to my order. The upcoming Mazda CX-90 has caught my attention. The Telluride is supposed to replace a Mazda CX-5, which has been a great vehicle so far.

Typically Kia announces that all orders not yet filled will be deleted.. Then it is up to the store locations to put everyone back in the original order and re-enter as 2023.

Some store are very organized about this... others will just tell clients that the 2022 models are no longer available and will be first come first serve to re-enter as 2023.

Highly recommend to check with your sales consultant or new car manager to see how the store you order from will proceed.

I can't understand why any customer would put up with this. Indeed, I can't fathom why anyone would subject themselves to the ordering process at all if such an outcome were even a possibility.

If you are stating the possibility of store being unorganized and not keeping people in the same order I agree.

On the flip side for the stores being organized, got to keep in mind this is a complete refresh... so new colors outside and interior, new trim options, possibly to start the rollout of 2023 with no Nightfall Editions (To be determine). New pricing..

The only way to crossover will have to be reinputting every order and seeing if client even wants to proceed with changes.

Yes; at a minimum, a customer in the order queue should be guaranteed not to lose their place even if there are delays and/or a model year changeover. You can move UP, if people ahead of you drop their orders, but you should never move DOWN.

I completely agree with you

I ordered from Shawnee Mission Kia, KS011 at MSRP. First went to Oakes kia but they wanted 7k over
How is it that Kia is picking up orders placed in May whereas my Feb order is still nowhere to be found?

My guess is you placed an order in February but it has yet to be submitted and picked up by Kia and if it wasn't picked up this month, then you'll have to re-submit an order for a '23 model.

Based on what I know, the dealer did place an order on some system. I have the request-id for the same. I don't know if that is the KFOS system or some other internal dealer system.

More people in front of you at the dealer you ordered from. As simple as that.

The dealers will convert all existing orders to 2023 orders from oldest to newest so no places in line are lost.

Where did you order?

Yes when you get an initial ETA than you should be good. When your order gets accepted by Kia than an ETA is given.. So if they give you that tomorrow or Wednesday than you are good
How do you know if your order is picked up by kfos? Does the dealer tell you or is there a website like failcat?

Yes your dealer would call letting you know it has been added to KFOS and would be given an ETA for delivery to the dealer.

@StephenCantrelle , what ETA delivery dates are you seeing for the orders just picked up by Kia this month? I asked because I was told that the dealer will get the car on October 2nd. Typically the time for this dealership is 1.5 months from picked up by KIA to delivery to the dealership. Four months seems long.

It going to be different depending on location from factory and if rail(Train) is involved or not.. but my ETA's here to Dallas TX that just filled are for September and Early October..
