It is, but as we have mentioned, the update is temporarily unavailable. Supposedly a server issue according to someone who took the time to call about their Hyundai.is the website update.kia.com?

Yes. However, it will redirect to the following:is the website update.kia.com?
This is my exact gripe as well. Despite me putting Radio at the top of the split screen list and last using radio in split screen with Android Auto, the interface insists on defaulting to Kia maps with Android Auto. Such a small thing, but it really bothers me.I have Waze in the left 2/3 of the screen, and the Telly's SXM panel in the right 1/3. Love that view!
What I don't like is that when I start the car up, the right panel doesn't ever default to the SXM panel, even though it was what I had up the last time in the car. It goes to weather, then I have to flick it up to get to the SXM panel. I tried reordering what goes in the right panel, but haven't figured this out. Just want the radio (SXM) panel to open first. It seems weather and maps (the KIA maps) panels cannot be removed from that view. I don't need weather or Kia maps at all, ever. I would REALLY like a way to solve that.
Wait, does your Telluride do this? When I turn off mine, the radio shuts off right away before even opening a door. This is one of my very few gripes about the car. My 2019 Optima would run the radio for a couple minutes after the engine is shut off, at least until I opened the driver door.Similar to how the radio stays on after you turn off the car, and then shuts completely off when you open the door to exit.
Disable this option in General Settings if you don’t want radio to shut off when engine is shut off.Wait, does your Telluride do this? Man! I swear I went through all my settings looking for it, I knew it had to be an option! Thanks so much!Disable this option in General Settings if you don’t want radio to shut off when engine is shut off. View attachment 26374
I totally get what you're saying and I have no problem if this was directed at me, lol!Not judging anyone, but I highly recommend people go through all the settings. I've read a lot of complaints recently for features that are actually configurable.
Not really directed at youI totally get what you're saying and I have no problem if this was directed at me, lol!
I'm one of those people that do go through every setting and I even looked for the setting to keep the radio on but I guess I missed it somehow. I've been obsessed since I put my order in six months ago and researched everything I could find, as soon as I got it, I delved into every setting I could. No idea how I missed this one!
Agreed. I Keep checking, it's on my to-do list, and ready to go. Someone said yesterday it's because of a server error they are fixing, but not sure.Download currently unavailable. Hopefully they'll get that sorted out soon.
It will absolutely not be updated. There will probably be no 2022s that leave the factory with this version of the software. Maybe even some 2023s.I am due to to receive my new telluride next week, will it be updated already or will I need to do this current update?
Yes, Kia needs to make their Maps and weather widgets so they can be deselected (never displayed), and also allow any widget order of display. Either of those fixes would solve our problem and it's hard to understand why it doesn't already work that way. This is my exact gripe as well. As annoying as this is, at least it wasn't pulled back due to issues with the update. They have now officially stated that the servers are experiencing downtime.
Looks like you’ll have to check back on or after 5/12 if you haven’t already downloaded.
Thanks, good to know!It will absolutely not be updated. There will probably be no 2022s that leave the factory with this version of the software. Maybe even some 2023s.
Mine doesn’t have this option. The only option I have is to turn media off at startup of vehicle.Disable this option in General Settings if you don’t want radio to shut off when engine is shut off. View attachment 26374
