• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Map Update v16.0 Arriving May 5th

Mine doesn’t have this option. The only option I have is to turn media off at startup of vehicle.
If you haven’t done the most recent update and are on the one from November, that setting is in Setup > Display > Audio system on/off.

If you did the new April 2022 update, it is back in Setup > General > Media options.

No matter what, you have that option. It’s always been there, somewhere.

That was it. Ty!

Hyundai corporate confirmed today that the update has been pulled by the engineers for maintenance, whatever that means and that we can go back on the website on May 13, not to download it but to see when it will be available again

We knew it was down for server maintenance days ago. 😉

I’m curious if the version available for download will be exactly the same as the one others grabbed last week.

With a delay like this, it seems less like actual “server maintenance” and more like a release getting pulled because there were issues that need to be fixed still.

I was able to do the download the night before it went offline. However I did not have a usb drive. The navigation updater downloaded the files onto my desktop (iMac). Now obviously the navigation updater will not allow me to continue. I have tried to copy the files from my desktop to the usb drive and it does so, all 34 gb of files. But I cannot get the Telluride to do the update when I go to do it and insert the usb drive. Any ideas? Does the navigation updater do anything I am not able to do with the files? I should say I also formatted the new usb drive to FAT-32.

If you manually copied all the files to the USB drive, you need to make sure the files are all in the root level of the USB. They can’t be within any folder.

Thanks! Not sure how to do that? Honestly I just dragged and dropped...

open the folder the files are contained in on your laptop. Then drag just the files direct into the thumb drive. Basically no folders copied to the thumb drive.

Copying now to root directory by just opening drive and dragging contents in that way. Unless I'm doing something wrong at the car?I turn it on, go to the update screen and the click on update. The system then tells me to insert the usb which I do. It says reading USB for a second and then nothing happens.

It worked! Up and running newest version. No issues at all and it only took 45 minutes. I thought I was in for an hour and a half.

Server maintenance is something that typically occurs over the course of hours, not days. At this point I'd say it's pretty clear that the update had issues, and is now being revised. I was able to download and pull this build number. We can compare it to the version number once the update goes live again: USA.0000.V008.001.220419.171033

It’s most likely.

The same thing happened on the November update. It was available, then it was halted for about a week before it was available for download again.

They officially posted a notice on their site that it is delayed until the 12th. Interestingly, it is only applicable to Gen5 units, which very much points to a software issue.

Interested in seeing if AAWireless or Motorola MA-1 still work with the new update. The previous post in this thread re: carsifi has me a little worried.

I guess you missed when I posted the statement last week. It’s okay, you weren’t the only one. 😉

I haven’t seen any reports of issues with the Motorola dongle, but I can confirm that the AA Wireless box needs to be put into passthrough mode to work post-update, at least until they can push an update to fix the glitch.

Thanks for that. I'm running AAWireless now, my wife has the MA1 in her car. I'll be sure to do that once I can download the update...I'm hearing through the grapevine it may be something with the server update ?

I tried the update a week ago and have had nothing but problems since. Nothing with voice works. No map directions. Won't read my texts. Voice prompt doesn't work. Nothing. Took it to kia and they didn't fix a thing. Just told me its a UVO thing and for me to contact UVO. Its their freaking car. I pay them every month, not UVO. The buck stops with them.

Anybody else try the software update?
