• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Map Update v16.0 Arriving May 5th

Am I the only one that likes the radio tubes?
You may not be the only one, but you’re definitely in the minority, at least based on this forum and other Hyundai/Kia forums and online groups.

I personally didn’t ever care either way because I don’t listen to any radio. So doesn’t matter to me one way or another.

I do think it’s funny that we’ve been listening to complaining about the tubes for nearly 18 months, and now they are gone, and people are sad they’re gone. Can’t win. Ideally, there would be some sort of setting or preference for the UI. But don’t count on that.

That's funny, I think the new radio interface is boring. At least the tubes gave it some character, I never minded them. Though I was a fan of the triple split screen. But the car is great, we are all spoiled. :)

After running for about an hour the car turned itself off.
I thought this too when I looked at the screen from outside the car, so I went to check on the progress. When I pressed the start button to get back to accessory mode it went immediately to the “Installing Maps 1/5” screen. I let it do it’s thing for another hour and it was finished.

I think if you keep the door closed for a while with the car in accessory mode, when you open the door it will shut off the screen too. Similar to how the radio stays on after you turn off the car, and then shuts completely off when you open the door to exit.

Because when I came back after the second hour when it was complete, I saw the “What’s new” screen from outside. Open the door, screen turns off, press start, screen resumed right where it left off.

I'm excited that the 2 things I missed most are back! I can reorder the stations AND I can see what's on the radio while having a map up that shows speed limits. To get this screen, I pushed the radio button and then the tiny arrow on the far right.

I’ve tried to download the update this morning but it says Download for this vehicle is not yet available? 2022 Telluride…🤔

FYI...if the map is not showing by default on that side, swipe up/down to get to that view.

And if its still not there, check your settings to enable those items you can view from split screen.

Looks like they pulled the update late yesterday for newer systems. The only updates that are still up currently are the ones for older gen 4 navigation systems.

Whaaa..interesting. Well, thanks!

Is anyone having issues with the Navigation Updater? It will not let me log in, says System Error. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but same thing.

I have Waze in the left 2/3 of the screen, and the Telly's SXM panel in the right 1/3. Love that view!

What I don't like is that when I start the car up, the right panel doesn't ever default to the SXM panel, even though it was what I had up the last time in the car. It goes to weather, then I have to flick it up to get to the SXM panel. I tried reordering what goes in the right panel, but haven't figured this out. Just want the radio (SXM) panel to open first. It seems weather and maps (the KIA maps) panels cannot be removed from that view. I don't need weather or Kia maps at all, ever. I would REALLY like a way to solve that.

I had the same thing this morning when I went to try. I did the guest login mode and it worked. THEN I saw that they pulled the update. -_- frustrating.

Ah, I see that now, but the Guest thing did work. Well here's hoping it's working by tonight!

So they have such a high degree of confidence in the update that they release it a week early; only to pull it because of what can only be assumed are issues. Sounds like that extra week of testing would have been a wise idea.

Wow! Thanks for that info! I didn't realize I could scroll up and down and get the compass, clock, weather, etc! That's cool!
