• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Murray kia order to delivery time

FYI: Murray Kia is being sold to new owners 4/25. Last day dealership is Murray kia is 4/23. I was told today that my vehicle came in, and if I dont pickup by 4/23 than new ownership would charge me $10,000 over MSRP.

You've got to be kidding me.

100% serious. I dont know what this means for people who have not gotten their orders in prior to this change.

Also, I have to finance minimum $20,000 or will be charged $1000 additional fee.

Who exactly told you this? Do you have a name? I just called them and spoke to the receptionist. She’s said 100 percent not true.

Roger O'Kane told me today
I was hoping he wasnt your source. Ill take his word over receptionist. Are you picking up today then? Can you post new info since you seem to be in on the loop? Like who’s the new owner and what not

Oh that's proper bs. My ride was supposed to come in mid May... Been waiting since October and if this is really true that's messed up.

I will be livid. I don't have anything in writing saying the sale was to be MSRP and I never even got any kind of receipt for my deposit.. I'd be prepared to pursue a lawsuit at that point. I've already sold my car because my ETA was 4/19 until 4/19 when it changed to 4/24. If they didn't at the very least refund deposits, that could be grounds for a class action lawsuit. I'm sure there at least 50 of us who have orders that were promised to be at MSRP.

I am picking up Saturday. I'll post a corroborating email soon.

Yes, please do it will be much appreciated.

Wonder if this is why they've been giving people insane wait times like 2 years. Trying to keep people from ordering knowing they will get screwed, since I'm guessing they could have gotten into trouble if they told people that MSRP sales would no longer be a thing.

please see email I received. I removed my info and Roger's cell.

I'm crossing my fingers that new owners honor the promises made for all current orders.. I don't have a lot of confidence, but I'm hoping.

I wish I had time to do that, the reality of it is, I'd just issue a charge back if able and go pick up an mdx or something

We lose 500 if we walk away. It was a non refundable deposit. Now it’s a lose less by walking away or lose by paying for the car we waited for half a year for

Yeah, that's why I'd issue a charge back if chase would allow me. I agree it's a lose lose but I'd rather take a 500 hit than 10k. I just shot Roger an email for clarification so we'll see what he says

Can you get a charge back for a charge over 6 months ago? Maybe you’ve recently placed a deposit with Murray?
