• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I’m looking at getting a captain chair gap filler for my telluride that’s is arriving in a month but need someone with the captain chairs to get the following measurements for mecaptain_chairs.webp

Try any of the users that posted on the threads below.

After searching high and low for something to fill the space between our second row captains chairs, I decided to tackle making something myself. Sharing for fun.

I wanted the captains chairs when we ordered our Telluride. We love to road trip with our dog and her preferred spot is laying between our teens in the second row. I figured we could shove some pillows in there but ultimately I wanted something that looked more intentional. With some help from my woodworker dad, we made a plywood riser and I padded, covered and finished it with marine vinyl. It should be heavy enough to stay in place but for good measure we added two tabs to the back to keep it from sliding forward.

What other solutions has anyone seen to fill the gap?
9.25” wide in the gap at the thickest part of the seat bottom. About 22” from the ledge to the back of the seats. And in case you need it 9” clears the seat cushion in height.

I’m curious if you find anything. I was interested in doing the same.

I have an S. I’m not sure if the Nappa leather seats are wider.
Looking for solutions on what you can use in the cargo area to protect the second row captain’s chairs other then a dog gate. Is there anything on the market that fills the gap so our lab can’t come forward?

thanks..
