However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. New Telluride Coming Soon-ish

Their waitlist for SX-P was one year. I didn't inquire about other trims. I should note that the estimate may have been more a function of the previous limited allocations back in June and not based on the increased output recently. Always good to reach out to Jason and Lucas to confirm.

They were very upfront and helpful. I'll echo the sentiment of others on this forum that were it not for the wait time I would have likely bought from them just based on their responsiveness. I suppose I should shout out @StephenCantrelle as well. While I didn't contact him directly, his information on the forum was helpful in making my decision a better informed one.

Wow... a year? Well, looks like that’s the nail in the coffin for me. Between the complications from the plague and the wait, it looks like the road trip to Indiana is out for now. Fortunately I live close to Nutley Kia in NJ. Had a good conversation with Ken last night, and he said the wait is around three months right now. It’s itching my cheap behind that I’ll have to pay a few more bucks (remember, I’m the guy who thought he was going to get an SX-P for $41,000 back in Feb. 2019), but right now it’s just too much hassle for me to buy out of state.

Kudos to Jason, Lucas, Stephen, and Ken for being the good guys and for all of the help they provide to everyone here and elsewhere.

I would encourage anyone to call them up anyway. As I mentioned before, that ETA was late June/early July which was before the substantially higher production started getting allocated so the rate at which orders are getting filled may move the ETA up some.

I was 61 before the August allocation and 27 after, so that's at least 34 allocations. If that trend continues and if you are 67 right now, you miiiiiiight squeeze into the October KFOS order. If that happens, based on what we are being told, you could be looking at a January ETA. But, like I have said it all seems like a crapshoot.
I got an update from Amanda this morning. I was wondering if you or anyone else in the i25 order queue received any updates. You can direct message me if needed.

Out of curiosity do you contact Amanda or does she contact you with updates? I have not heard anything on my order I placed 7/31.

She has typically reached out to me.

I did message her after the August KFOS window to see where I was in the queue since her statement that my order filled was confusing as when I asked for clarification she stated that I wasn't in KFOS yet. She did provide an internal VIN which appears to be similar to the Kdealer order number.

I would reach out to her for an update though if you haven't heard anything. What trim/options did you order?

I ordered SXP, Tow, Carpeted floor mats, wheel locks

It appears i25 orders wheel locks for everyone.

Your order may be getting held up in the non-Nightfall queue. As others have detailed in the forum (shoutout to @MarcinTexas and their tracking/graphs) the factory appears to be pushing Nightfall batching which may be delaying getting your in KFOS.

I'd reach out to Amanda for an update. If you haven't gotten word that your order filled/received an internal VIN. Their terminology doesn't exactly match up with what has been detailed on this forum.

I ordered from I-25 Kia on August 19 and was #67 on the list. I got an email Monday and now I'm #44. Things seem to be moving along.

Nice, I haven't heard anything so I sent a text for an update, waiting for response. Hopefully, they have just as big an allocation as last month. I feel like those of us in the i25 crew need our own thread lol.

Sounds like you're volunteering to create one. :D

I feel like Kia of Muncie can have their own too. Though those guys are substantially more transparent with their process/queue.

I'm curious how the color batching plays a role. Last Everlasting Silver VINs I see in Failcat are in early July though there have been more rolling out of the factory (Should be noted Everlasting Silver doesn't have large VIN batches that Black/Black Copper, Moss, Snow White/Glacial White have)

Yeah, I only see like 7 or 8 that are like what I ordered, in all of failcat. I give up trying to figure out Kia's system lol. I feel bad for the people who have been waiting for months and have been seemingly forgot about.

I am curious what she has to say too. Last time I texted Amanda on 8/14 she said my order had been placed but not filled.

Just an update. I ordered with I-25 beginning of June. Ordered with Kia August Allocation. ETA is second week of November.

Did you get a vin # yet? I have received a vin but its not in failcat yet. Oddly, i25 hasnt been on the failcat list for any vehicle in 8 days. Seems odd.

Glad to hear you got your ETA. Be sure to follow up on your VIN when available. It looks like i25 is getting the VINs generated before they pop up on failcat.

Also good to hear you've got an ETA for Wolf Gray (Grey?) as the color isn't even in failcat yet (or perhaps isn't being captured yet?)

I wonder if i25 and other dealers are getting estimates on when exterior colors are being batched at the factory and can therefore predict farther out since your ETA would indicate a VIN from the factory in October-ish.

Figured I'd update this thread since my ETA had passed. Reached out to Amanda for info since my ETA day passed without an update. Apparently they got their delivery late yesterday.

Hopefully some of those other cars that got delivered and are sitting in the lot belong to forum members.

hmm, yes, I purchased my Terruride from I25 kia, took delivery March 31, 2020, I was very very lucky, with moss green sx-p with towing, somehow was already in process, when I placed my order 2/21/2020. I worked with

Beau Wenger

I paid MSRP + normal dealer fees. I did leave a $500.00 deposit, that could have been refunded.
I had a great experience working with this dealership

I puchased an extended warranty from Munic - Jason Fox
