• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... OEM All Weather Premium Cargo Mat with 60/40 Seatback Protection

So after reaching out to a half a dozen dealerships in Canada... a parts guy at Toronto Kia was able to order one of these for me & ship to Illinois. Pricing was $275 CAD for the liner, (an obscene) $300 CAD for FedEx shipping & about $75 CAD for tax. All in all it worked out to about $510 USD after factoring in the exchange rate.

Certainly not an economical choice--but given that there's really nothing else like this on the market--and because have one carseat installed in the back row--the back row ends up halfway folded down most of the time--so having some all-weather protection combined with the ability to fold down part of that 60/40 back row made the high cost of shipping worth it for me.

But--yeah--$300CAD to ship is crazy (the item arrived in 2 business days). If the border wasn't closed for COVID, I would have been tempted to make a weekend trip up to Detroit/Windsor to cross the border & pick one up in person.

As for the liner itself--it's pretty nice. It's a bit softer than what I expected (i.e., it's softer than Smartliner, Weathertech products, etc.). It's almost feels like a blend of foam and rubber--think halfway between a rubber basketball & a nerf ball--but it doesn't seem so soft that it would tear easily. The back of the liner has a rough rubber/fabriclike feel to it (akin to the back of a normal carpeted floor mat). It came folded over in a 2' x 4' x 4" box--which left a crease mark in the middle of the liner (hopefully it evens out eventually).

The back has a few velcro tabs on it--which velcro the edges of the liner to the carpet on the back of the seats & in the flat cargo area. The velcro seems pretty light duty & not too sticky--so it doesn't feel like it's going to do much damage to the carpet on the seats/cargo area. It also has straps that loop around the headrests in the 3rd row to keep it in place. Fit is pretty good--but It doesn't quite lay flat when folded down--as there's some extra material in the transition crease between the seatback & the flat cargo area (you can see in the pictures that a few inches of material folds up accordion-style when the seats are in the up position).

So--all in all--I'm pretty happy. Not cheap, but it's what I wanted & I feel like it's good protection for my new Telly.

Kind of crazy that nobody makes these for the U.S. market--seems like there'd be plenty of demand for it.

@blakation - How easy is it to access the "hidden" storage in the cargo area. Can you just lift the liner up?

Yes, easy to lift up the liner to access the compartment below. The liner simply rests on top of the panel.

rests as in just sits atop it? No velcro or anything to keep it secured?

Haven't we all?... in fact I was thinking of starting a thread to see what people have bought BEFORE we even got the vehicle... I bet the list would be long (I know mine is...LOL

I already have my curb feelers and a chihuahua that has a head which bobbles up and down. 😜

I just ended up going w/ a canvasback (my third one). As always, great fit and high quality. Still a slightly different purpose than a mat, but does protect the vehicle from the dog, mud, cargo, etc and looks good.

@JerseySXP - did you get your liner? What do you think?

I got it - sitting in the packaging in my garage.

I'll open it at some point today and let you guys know my initial thoughts.

Guy easily packaged it for shipment..not sure what that group buy guy was talking about it a pain to ship but that isn't true at all.

Curious if it could be installed over a canvasback liner...

I ordered from Tyler at Murray Hyundai too - could not have been nicer and made it so easy...mine ships to me today, hope to receive it by next week. Woohoo! Thanks @JerseySXP for the intel on this - very excited.
