Good News!Finally heard back from my dealership and they gave me the customer ID# that I’d been asking for. And it does reflect the date that I ordered (10/31). That makes me feel better. Now the waiting game continues!
When did you order?Literally.....just rolled off the truck as I was driving by the dealership!!!! ....my Black Copper SX P!!!! Obviously I immediately pulled in and started a "walk around" All the original factory stickers, etc still in place......even got to snag the factory "checkout receipt" which every Kia goes through!! They will get her cleaned up today and then wife and I hit the dealership at 11am tomorrow to do the paperwork and drive away! The manufacture date on the vehicle is 11/12/2019 , the factory inspection was done on 11/14/2019 at 8:37 am! Delivery to hear in central Pa. was today. The VIN was created on 11/11/2019 ........so that's the timeline as i see it.

Just spoke to some moron named Jacob at Kia USA I called to see if they would tell me something I could relay to my dealer in order to get him to produce a request ID. He said there’s no such thing as a request ID. Kid spoke in circles. Really uninformed and disinterested. He said I’ll eventually get a car, which was really reassuring.
Just found out that the only document that I did receive which was a pink carbon sheet which outlined the vehicle I wanted and the $500 deposit I gave the dealership got tossed out with the Telluride brochure my neurotic wife threw out when cleaning the house. We have about a foot high pile of Restoration Hardware catalogues and she tosses out the Telluride brochure with my mountain bike magazines.

We're at 3 months for an S AWD and told that were about in the middle of the process...Update on order to delivery time. Ordered sxp gravity grey with beige interior on 9/6. Took it home on 11/13. So far we love everything about it. I don’t know how we got it so quick, but I’ll certainly take it. We were told when we ordered it to expect 3-6 months.

I just put in an order with Ed Voyles Kia Marietta. Did you end up sticking it out with Ed Voyles? Did they provide you a request id for you order?I ordered mine in June from Ed Voyles Kia in Marietta. They keep saying that we are on the VIP list and when they ask they will submit it and let us know. We dealt with 3 different sales people that all quit. Now the manager is our contact but by the looks of it, I say we need to reach out to another Kia dealer. Not sure if we can cancel and go with another one or not. My question is, all these guaranteed sales but production for the SX was put on hold. I don't get it.

My experience is that if you get someone like this on the phone at a 800 call center, just hang up and call back and speak to someone else. Chances are that you ask the same exact questions and you will get different answers.Kid spoke in circles. Really uninformed and disinterested.
