In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Order to delivery time

I would like to know too. My Black Copper SXP is supposed to arrive this Thursday. The only offer I see on KIA’s site is the competitive rebate.

If you didn't get a promise from them to cover those incentives, you will get whatever incentives go live on July 1, if any.
You're probably right about that. I'll try the complain loudly, demand my deposit back, and head for the door routine, but it's just going to come down to how badly do I want this car.

I've had my VIN# for a couple weeks now, and keep getting told it will be at the dealer on **** date and it keeps getting pushed out. This has went on for 3 weeks now. My vehicle went thru final inspection on 5/31/19. I'm so frusterated at this point

Unfortunately, they can probably get a new buyer for it before you walk off the lot... And they can probably sell it for more than they guaranteed you when you signed the purchase agreement...

Ah I hate hearing that. Considering I haven't even got my VIN yet and have a ETA date of July 7th

And still give me a terrible time getting my deposit back. I think I'll just go out and win the next $500 mill megamillions and pay $75k cash for the next SXP that comes into the dealer. I bet I'll get my car rather quickly.

If you win could you please pay for mine too ;)

I have to disagree. As a consumer you have the right to get your deposit back. They cannot keep your money from you. That is theft. Unless you signed something that said it was nonrefundable, that is your money and it is owed back to you the second you asked for it

You'll have to put down a $2000 deposit for the opportunity to wait for me to win the lottery.

So, I’m currently out of the country on business and been informed my FWD SX is scheduled to arrive on June 21st (10 wks later) day before I return. I’m been trying to finalize paperwork remotely to make a quick exchange. Now, Carriage Kia of Woodstock is attempting to add over $1800 in addendum cost for the following,

2 oil changes
2 tire rotations
Ding repair for a year
Key replacement of a year
Polyester repair for a year
Life time loaner

During order placement I paid my $1000 deposit and agreed on purchased price of MSRP, less and incentives at the time of delivery.

Qualified for $1500 cash back, plus $1000 loyalty rebate.

I asked multiple times for an official Financial documentation for the agreed price and dealership would not provide. I raised my concerns multiple times via email and in person and was verbally guaranteed and shook hands with both sales representative and sales manager I would not pay a dollar over MSRP.

Is this legal? I highly question the ethical and legality of this bait and switch tactic.

I’ve sent emails to upper management and currently waiting there response.

Can any shade light on this matter.

Things will change when the Palisade is

Sadly this seems like a recurring theme at a lot of dealers.... mainly because they know someone else will buy it if you walk away. Dont think its illegal as they're wasnt a contract, ethical... divergent story.

Obviously push to get it taken off, but also secure your deposit if stuff goes south.

Add them to the bad dealership list.

Call Kia support. Complain. Keep complaining. They are 100 percent wrong. Find out who the district manager is. Don't let they do this to you or anyone else

Super Frustrating. It's been 8 weeks since I ordered my non-prestige SX. I was told it would be about 8 weeks. I even figured closer to 10 weeks, but the frustrating thing is that the dealer is pretty much ignoring my calls, texts, e-mails when I've inquired about my vehicle. I don't want to give them a hard time because they probably want to sell it to someone else for a mark-up or to make more money on someone else's trade. I'm starting to dislike the dealership and it's a shame that most dealers are taking advantage of the situation. I hope it comes back to bite them. (but it probably won't)

I really wish the Pilot looked better. I also hate when every vehicle at my kids sporting events are Pilots and Highlanders (that look like minivans)

that's like Best buy not selling you a TV because you won't purchase the insurance. Simply telling you don't want it and that there was an agreed-upon deal and you'll be coming in to pick up your vehicle as soon as you return

Latest update.

Latest update. Sent emails to upper management at the dealership, posted google review, submitted compliant at Kia consumer affairs.

Yesterday I received a nice apologetic email from the GM and confirmed the dealership will be honoring our original deal.

Today, got the call she is at the dealership. Will be picking her up on Sunday!
