Order to delivery time

Have you seen your VIN in failcat yet? Mine was also picked up on 3/17 and no VIN and dealership won’t give me an initial ETA.

No vin as of yet. If I understand correctly, the vehicle is usually delivered 2-3 weeks after if shows up in failcat. I am still about 5-6 weeks out from the initial ETA of 6/3

Just posting my wait time here. About 7 1/2 months. Placed $1000 deposit 9/9/21, Vin popped into failcat 1/30/22, delivered to dealer 4/18/22 after a few delays. I had somewhat of a 'unicorn' vehicle though. EX AWD with Bench 8-seat, no packages. Gravity grey with grey leather at MSRP. I guess they pump out the N/T/P and SX trim orders as they are more profitable and seem to arrive sooner, but I wanted the 8-seater.
I think its a great color combo and very happy to have it now. Good luck all!

I added both of those, but only because I prefer having them when buying a vehicle.

That’s awesome, so exciting!! Did you pay msrp? I live in Houston and didn’t even think of trying to reach out to college station Kia. I ordered through premier Kia in Lufkin.

I live near Houston and looked into Lufkin, but it appears they get very minimal tellurides in each month. Check out failcat.

I am not a drive-train specialist, nor a 'motor-head', so I am not really qualified to distinguish the feel between awd and fwd. I think my awd drives quite nicely, however it has only been driven a short time on normal clear roads. However, check out this video, it may help you. You can start around 3 min in.

I had a 2019 Ford Explorer with AWD and it was amazing. My husband turned traction control off while it was raining and tried to spin out, but it wasn't possible.

That’s the exact combo we ordered too! We were told 4-6 months when we ordered on 12/29/21 and that it might be on the shorter end of that wait time because it wasn’t a very popular configuration. But our order still hasn’t been picked up by Kia and we have no ETA yet. So now it makes more sense why with what you’re saying!

Finally delivered!!! only took 10 1/2 months everyone thinks the car is awesome!! I was told the wait is now bet 12-18 months craziness!!!!

Kia South Jordan Utah was a good experience although they are at MSRP new purchases must get paint protection package for 1,995. I was grandfathered in I guess and didn't have to pick that.

South Dade Kia told me 6-8 months when I ordered back in late March but I guess somebody abandoned an order and I received my SX P/N in 6 weeks at MSRP!!! (plus typical FL dealer BS fees which amounted to $1800 which included registration)

Typically FL dealer fee is $899 here plus $450 for registration (less for plate transfer)

I just got word that my order from Nov 2021 still has over 130 orders in front of it. Still no ETA for me after almost 4 months.

Ordered mine in November 2021 from Ontario Canada - just got told yesterday ETA September! Possibly later. Kia Canada won’t be selling any cars until further notice as they can’t keep up- just wild. I was looking forward to having it for the summer!

Not the trim I originally wanted its an S trim but was what dealer had allocated at MSRP and we were down to one vehicle so I took it! I’m excited, I’ve never even test drove one.
