What city/state did you find the no/$1999 markup in? In California they are all about $7500 markup. I would be willing to purchase out of state and drive it back!

About 5 dealers in Denver CO told me no mark up. I ended up placing a deposit with Grand Kia. I know I25 Kia and Arapaho’s Kia said the same. Also a dealer in Tulsa OK had no mark up. I’m in Wichita KS

I see, I did mine with St. Cloud Kia (ordered: June 3, 2021). Talk to the agent last week and he said that my order will surely be picked up next time.

I ordered mine from St. Cloud Kia on the 4th. I emailed 2 days ago to see if they had any new info but never got a reply. Do you have any idea what timeline for yours is? I’m just so excited it’s hard to wait!

No timeline. The agent wont give info such as my place on the pick up list and when the KIA order pick up takes place. He just assumed that my order will be next cause the latest orders that was picked up was just few days before mine.

Placed an order yesterday, 7/7, for a Glacial White/Black SX-P w/ Tow. MSRP, no deposit.

Quoted 4-6 months for delivery. Was told that AWD SXs are taking the longest, especially with both Prestige and Nightfall.

I’ve had a chance to buy two SX-Ps w/ Nightfall in the past week that came in but the customers backed out, but couldn’t bring myself to spend the extra coin for the Nightfall package. Maybe I’ll cave and get one of the random SX-P/NF ones that becomes available if the one I ordered winds up taking longer than I can hold out.

Yep - cancelling mine today. I was coming from a long line of Ford Explorers, but was enamored by the look and tech offered by the Telluride. Drove a 2021 Explorer Limited yesterday, found it has most of the same tech that the Telluride has, fits my comfort level of knowing the Explorer well, and (most importantly) was right there available for immediate purchase, so I drove it home. Not disappointed.

Is it certain that the grill on the SX is black?????? I am not a fan of the new logo or the black grill. If I wanted the black grill, I would have ordered the nightfall

I live in Southern California and prices are crazy here. Ordered from I-25 Kia in Colorado on 4/26/2021. Ordered Glacier White, Napa Grey, SX, Prestige, Nightfall, Tow package for MSRP and $695 Dealer fee. Came in to the dealership on 7/9/2021. Flew out to Colorado on 7/10/2021 and drove it back to Southern California. Was a 14 hour drive from Colorado to Southern California. I-25 Kia was great! Kept me updated, no games or hidden fees. Well worth flying out and 14 hour drive instead of paying 5k - 10k mark up and playing dealership games here in California.

Also from SoCal and did the same. Now waiting for our 2022 Glacier White, Napa Grey, SX, AWD, Prestige, Nightfall, Tow package to arrive in a couple weeks. We had one SoCal dealer asking $18K over MSRP here in SoCal! Yeah, $695, flight fare and a 14 hour drive sounds much better!

How do you like the Napa Grey seats? I am a bit concerned they will show wear and look dirty over time.

Thanks for the info… I placed an order with Arapaho on 7/10, Will fly to Denver and take the 2-day road trip back to CA when it comes in. Definitely worth saving $7500!

Yeah, definitely worth it!! I really like the Napa Grey, think it looks great. I only had the car a few days so time will tell how they hold up, but I think they will do well. Napa leather is quite durable, so I’m hoping with proper care and maintenance they will be fine. Enjoy the drive back!

Yeah I was really surprised how early the car came in. I have used chemical guys products for years and have had good results. I am trying Colourlock Leather Shield Clean and Care Kit for the Napa Grey. Saw a lot of Tesla owners use it for their white leather. Hopefully you T-ride comes in early also.

Compared to the other posts on this forum, I must have been very lucky. I placed an order with a refundable $500 deposit with Kia of Muncie in mid May for a SX AWD P/N/T in Gravity Gray with the Dune Brown interior (looking to use the Costco Auto program and expecting the $1200 savings to be a wash with shipping to MD). Expecting a 6-8 month delivery time…

So last month, I gathered a list of the dealers from the “good” list in the local MD, VA, DE, PA, and NY areas within 6 hours driving time and used Failcat to search their respective allotments and monthly orders and started to contact them inquiring about ordering at MSRP. I placed an order with Nationwide Kia at MSRP with no Adonis after being told that they are expecting 3-4 months after order has been submitted. Asked for an OTD price work up and place my $500 deposit on 6/18. At the time, they told me I was 25th in line and when I asked again a week later then said that I was 5th in line across all trims. I texted my sales rep on Monday seeing if my order had entered into KFOS for July, and to my surprise, he told me that my ETA was actually 07/27/21! He said he didn’t have a VIN for me, but I found my Trim/color/POI accessories on Failcat for my dealer and Steven C. was able to check and verify my initials and the ETA.

SO IT LOOKS LIKE THERE IS STILL HOPE OUT THERE!!! SO HANG IN THERE!
