  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Order to delivery time

Pickup 10/12!!! It's totally worth the wait!!!

THAT'S MY CAR!!!
You need to reject it and have it sent to Wisconsin lol!

But seriously, congratulations you lucky dog. I'm so envious!

🤣 you're going to love it when it arrives!!!

PLEASE take some pictures when you get a chance.
Pictures and this forum are the only things that sustain me during this brutally painful
wait!

Ebony Black SXP AWD with gray interior
Tow package
Carpeted Floor mats
Cargo tray
mud guards

Ordered 7/31 from Edwards Kia in Iowa
Dealer said it was “accepted” almost immediately. They initially told us 8 weeks to get it, which was obviously BS based on what I’m reading here. Have been following up with them but they don’t have any updates as of now after 10 weeks. Patience is not one of my strengths. I ordered the extra options just figuring as long as we were ordering, might as well get exactly what we want. Sounds like we may only be halfway through our wait. I may start calling around to other dealers to see if I can get lucky with a different one.

This is my fear. My dealer is garbage and they do not return calls or texts. I feel like they are stringing me along because the date moved and they dont want to tell me. No VIN, no info, nothing. Ordered March 11th.
I was at one dealer and he said you really can’t order. It is what ever they get in. They barely get them on their show room floor.

Oh it sounds like what I had been through. I placed mine SXP on July 25th, and waited for 9 weeks. The dealer said the order has been accepted, but he couldn't not provide any sort of document/paperwork of showing that my order has been accepted. In fact, that mothercrunker changed his statement saying that the order has not been accepted and still waiting to be picked up. I immediately drove up to the dealership and got my deposit back. Told them I'm done doing business with this types of a scumbag. I kept following up weekly, and basically this salesman has been lying to me the entire time. Watch out guys. There are so many scumbags out there who just want your money. You are spending a tons of money, so you gotta be fully comfortable where you are spending it for.

I placed an another order with another dealership with less markup fee. And I hope I don't have to go through the same shit. So far, they have been good updating the status of the order.

My order was SXP Ebony black/nappa leather with illuminated scuff plate and interior light kit.

I posted this on a new post but then saw this one, so apologies for the duplicate posts.
I ordered my Gravity Gray SX on 10/01 and just got email from dealer that is is scheduled to begin build today. I assume that's good news, right?
Anyone know how long a build actually takes once begun? Was ordered through a Florida Dealer so I assume being built in GA factory.

They are all built in West Point, GA. Maybe someone on this forum can explain "build" schedule, etc?

They are looking about 3 to 4 months depending on what trim you get.

I believe that the normal process is 1) Order, 2) Order Accepted, 3) VIN/build, 4) ETA. I am assuming that the dealer mean't order accepted, i.e. it has been accepted and will be placed into the schedule. The wait then begins to see when the VIN is received. Meaning it is being built or about to be built. At least that is what our dealer told us and how it worked for us.
