Order to delivery time

maybe he is wrong I noticed they list most interiors as black then in a separate area it will state the right color .

I was hoping too but the car is on the vin lookup and when I look at the window sticker, Dune Brown is not listed in the options section like it should be.

I'm positively shocked and thrilled. I placed an order for a Moss/Dune SXP on 1/10 and my VIN just popped up today. According to my dealer I was third in line but now I'm thinking this might have been a mistake as only 1 other SXP has been allocated ahead of me. Given everyone else's wait times and my dealer only getting on average 1 SXP every other month I wasn't hopeful I'd see the car until June at the earliest.

You could be right! He needs to check the right column of the sticker.

Anyone know what WK references under Interior on this DRE?

According to this thread WK is black interior.

Your Telluride is option group 22 which is the Dune interior.. it overrides WK interior(Black) as Opt group 22 is specific for SX AWD with Dune interior with Prestige package

Did they give you a Vin number yet.. I can confirm your exact one if you like

Dilemma - I’m guessing what most of you would do...but here’s the scenario: placed order for white sxp grey interior early January, told it was entered mid January and accepted. ETA supposedly by 3/28. I was told a few weeks ago they wouldn’t know more until March, but we were still on track for 3/28. i asked for order # and they provided 0007621994. I haven’t checked in yet this week...im getting anxious because I will have no car after 3/31. VIN has not hit on the website with my specifics (wheel locks and no carpet mats). Dealer is West Herr in Buffalo. If the VIN has not posted yet, what are the chances I’ll get this by end of March or close to it? I have found my exact color combo in under 2 hours away at MSRP that is sitting on their lot waiting for me now. Their doc fee is $398 (Pennsylvania...) vs $75 (NY) and there’s carpet Mats ($210 fine, whatever) and bumper guard (ok, cool.). I did convince them to give me more for my trade, so that pretty much offsets this. I should just go get it right?? Though I’ve paid the March payment on my current car, so I’m also out about $300 on that for time not driven. But risking not having a car very quickly here...

My vin was created today with an ETA of 3/23. From what I've seen there's a good chance your VIN should be up any day. They will likely have an updated ETA for you within a few days of your VIN creation...many have seen their vehicles arrive sooner than expected.

Thank you for the info! Very helpful! I’ll check in with my dealer in the morning. Congrats on getting yours very soon!!

Congratulations, that’s good news to hear.

Talked to my dealer this morning and gave me a screenshot of good info! Body is supposed to be in today, paint tomorrow, production completed 3/9 and shipped out on 3/20. Feeling a lot better about this now! And I don't have to go running around to get a different Telluride. He said we are 7-10 days from the VIN being assigned, it happens once the final inspection happens, slated for 3/14.

That depends on the credit union rates your using. My credit union is through my employer and they take it out of my pay check before taxes bi-weekly. I like the accelerated program so I won’t have my car note for the whole 60 months. I’m getting a low rate with them as well, it’s not 1.9% but low enough for me 3.75%. Also if something happens to me through medical or death where I can’t pay, my car is paid off by my credit union in full no balance owed. A slightly higher rate but there are some advantages.
Am I reading your statement correctly?
You are claiming you make your car payment with pretax earnings thru your credit union? Never heard of such...? Just curious...can you elaborate on this? Thanks

I was in commercial lending for 20 years and now on the corporate side of finance...I think he is confused. Pre-tax deductions are for things like retirement funding and benefits premiums. He may have it taken out of his check - but it isn't pre-tax.

Some how, I don’t know how and I don’t ask but my employers credit union takes payments before taxes. I don’t know what they have worked out with HR to have it coded that way. I do a lot of business with them and they pull it Directly from my paycheck and not by net. It listed under deductions. If that makes sense..

You can have it listed under deductions and it still be after tax. Employers handle a lot of items through "Deductions" Some are pre-tax and others are post tax and after that you have a net payroll amount. For example - if you sign up for supplemental life insurance through your employer - that is an after tax deduction - but can still be listed under your "deductions" on your payroll. But it is calculated after taxes. It can all be confusing - but by law there are things that can not be taken out before tax.
