Order to delivery time

"its sitting in the transport yard in Illinois ...should be here litterally anytime....I cant even trace it anymore so as soon as it comes in I will contact you." - that was the last thing I was told.

What's last 8 of the vin? And yes shipping has slowed lately.. had one that went IT status(in transit) on Friday and got here this morning. It showed in my stock in the system on Tuesday but didn't actually arrive till today. Not normal.. for another forum member on here

Yup see he is having the same problem.. Its showing in Dealer Stock but i'm sure he is telling you the truth that it hasn't showed up yet.
Rock River Kia... I would say the same thing can show up literally at any time. Hopefully tomorrow morning

Yeah, shipping has been crazy in all industries so it makes sense. Ordered a new guitar 3 weeks ago that hasn't shipped yet either because of warehouse slowdown.

I'm a teacher sitting at him and all I want are new toys to play with!

Wolf grey looks really light in comparison to gravity grey and the Kia silver is already sort of that bland grey. I sure hope it’s darker than what I see online!

Same. I placed an order for a Gravity Grey SX-P and was one of the folks that got pushed to a 2021 model. My wife and I really loved the gravity Grey Really want to see some pictures of the new Wolf Gray that KIA is going to use.

Kia has told us that March was last month to enter 2020's into KFOS.

KFOS orders for the month of April are going to start being put in on the 20th.

I see options to play with the 2021 Telluride internally so I feel confident this month we will start putting in 2021 orders.

My latest delivery dates with current ETA's are in June.

That to me indicates 2021's that go in this month should arrive around July-August.

Of course this all depends on Virus not delaying things any more.

I will update everyone here as soon as I get additional information on 2021.

I was one of the ones that @StephenCantrelle is referring to. My number came up for an allocation and in fact Stephen's dealership initially had enough allocations - but the last two in line got dropped in March and pushed to the 2021 order books. For those that are saying their order was "Cancelled" I can understand how you might think that...but in reality if it was like mine - it wasn't dropped in as much as it wasn't accepted and no ETA was assigned. Stephen has been great at communicating with me and called me the moment it happened so I wasn't left in the dark or left feeling like it had been accepted and then cancelled. What that means for me is I am first in line for a 2021 SXP at Stephen's dealership. Stephen told me he would call as soon as they had something official as to pricing and option changes beyond what he already shared. So between myself or Stephen - one of us will be posting data as soon as it is available.
 
I just placed my order today for an Everlasting Silver SX Prestige with Tow package. My dealer told me to expect a July delivery. Reading through these posts has me wondering if a July delivery date is even realistic. I specifically asked about the 2021 Telluride and my Dealer told me they will not be available until late Summer early Fall, with some estimates being late Fall to early Winter.
 
As to the time between 2020 books closing and 2021 production starting. My suspicion is that by shutting down the plant and making the change for the Sorento they can strategically get their house in order and finish all the backlog of orders rather than focusing on producing unsold orders. This will allow them to close out all the old sold orders and allow dealerships to sell any remaining 2020 inventory. Then when 2021 production kicks in over the next couple of months - they will be ready to go and start producing the 2021's at the higher rate (they have already announced) of 100,000/year.

I expect 2021's will start showing up on dealer lots in July or August at the latest. I can't wait.

I just hope there are some other changes on the 2021. I know I am dreaming - but I am hoping to see the following:

- Remote start on key fob
- Steering wheel from the new Sorento (the 2020 models currently shares the same wheel)
- digital dash from the Palisade offered on the prestige model

Only a little bit longer!

If you ordered today - it will be a 2021 model.

I am very interested as to when (date) you ordered. I ordered today and was told I was ordering a 2020.

Great, because that is what I was hoping for. I agree with you for the wishful changes, especially the remote start via key fob rather than thru the phone app for a fee

Boy, listening to you all, and your various experiences leaves me really confused. Wednesday evening, my dealer salesman called, said that my order (January 6) was canceled by the factory, that the '20's are no longer being produced, and that they didn't know when I'd be able to order a '21. After reading Mr. Cantrelle's posts, I visited the dealership today, and showed him what I was reading. The salesman took the info into the sales mgr., who said that their regional manager (?) for Kia is telling them that no orders for Tellurides can be placed currently, and that he didn't have a date for when they could be placed. Now, when I read more recent comments here, some folks are placing orders today/yesterday!
As I said, I'm just really confused. I'm now wondering if I should contact a bigger dealership (I'm in suburban St. Louis, MO) who might have more leverage with the factory. Any suggestions??

Yes, get a new dealer. My dealer in North Carolina, right in my hometown, said they "weren't a big enough dealership to be allowed to place orders" which is a complete lie. Any dealer can order. I mean, it's a guaranteed sold vehicle. I learned that some dealerships don't want the paperwork hassle. I ordered from Jason in Muncie, IN, but still have approximately 15 orders ahead of mine.
