Did they say it would got towards the vehicle price or was it the cost just to place an order? Some of the dealers in my area for asking for $1,000 non-refundable deposit I found a dealer that allowed a $500 refundable deposit which was much better
What is KFOS? Like most of us, I'd love to know if at this point it will be a 2021 or not. Allocation amounts, to my understand, vary from dealer to dealer as well as the #orders that were requested to be built. I know about a month ago I was #20, and the dealer got 6 in just a week moving me to #14. This could have been a larger than usual amount in just a week. There is a lot of speculation on the forums that may or may not become reality.
KFOS is the system KIA uses for dealers to input orders. Typically opens up in the 15-17th date range. This month that was moved to the week of the 20th.
Allocations are released monthly...not weekly. If they got 6 in a month - then you are 2+ months from getting an assigned build. Then 45-60 days after that for delivery. So yes - you will be getting a 2021.
Why pay MSRP?Are you all paying a mark up or at or below MSRP?

Looks like May 4th now: Kia Motors to extend suspension of vehicle production at West Point plantKIA plant in West Point Georgia (home to the Telluride) is RE-OPENING NEXT WEEK.
Same here. I ordered mine Nov 28th and told 6-8 weeks. Last time I spoke to the Rep, he literally laughed when I asked if there was any update and said that I "might" get it in July and that he has people waiting who placed orders LAST July that are still waiting. Unbelieveable. On Tuesday I called 12 dealers outside my area here in Nor Cal and the lowest mark up was $2995 and the highest was $8995. No thanks, paying sticker is bad enough.
they never gave me my vin number!
they never gave me my vin number!
Can you provide me with that site? And what’s the dealer number, I need to call them and ask for it or is it there phone number? The dealer won't give you a VIN number until they actually post it for them and then you normally have to ask. You however can watch the VIN site and put in your dealer number and it will show all the vehicles being built going to that dealer, normally you can figure out if it is your vehicle buy looking at type, options and colors...
