If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Order to delivery time

@StephenCantrelle Would you mind checking my VIN? Dealer provided it on Thursday w/an ETA of 10/9 and it just popped up in Failcat today. I'm not entirely convinced it's the one I ordered since it has the floor mats (didn't want) and is missing the Illuminated Scuff Plates I ordered, but the dealer insists it's mine and frankly, I'm not gonna argue. Just curious... 5XYP5DHC3MG117142 Last name: Fowler. Thanks!!
Your name is attached and it is In Transit... ETA 09-30 to Lev

Having not seen it in person, it always seemed too yellowish to me.

I saw a white SX (non-prestige) at Home Depot yesterday and it had the butterscotch interior. Wasn't as yellow as I was thinking it would be. Had the kids with me and of course walked across the parking lot to look in the windows and check out the Telluride since I see so few of them still. Had to embarrass the kids a bit...made me want mine all the more. Even on the base SX - was reminded how beautiful the interior is on these rigs. Can't wait to have mine!

Well that's good, that's the only interior I was kind of iffy on based on pics. So really all the interior options are beautiful.

As I was walking away from the Telluride yesterday and into Home Depot...I was thinking...ever since the Stinger, K900 and now Telluride came out - I find myself checking them all out when I see them. I can't imagine even a few years ago walking across a hot parking lot to check out a KIA. My how times have changed!

Congrats @akdoh!! We were one day ahead of each other with everything. Only ETA changed on me after it was the same. Btw there are 343 vin numbers between our cars. I’ll just sit and wait here joining the dune brown fan club.

They are definitely bringing their A game. I was never thinking I would buy a Kia, here I am, willing to wait months for one!

Yes, I am working with a small dealership that only gets about 5 allocations a month, so that is part of the problem. My problem with the KIA mothership is all the Nightfall Tellys they are building while the 2019/early 2020 waiters twist in the wind.

A question for people who ordered 2020's way back when but are getting 2021s: Are dealerships honoring the 2020 MSRP they quoted when you placed your deposit?
I was charged the 2021 MSRP, despite ordering a 2020, however the difference is minimal, and I was more than glad to get the 2021 changes for that price.

Now that production stats have normalized in failcat....a few observations.

- SX Prestige production has taken a massive hit - on track to be the lowest month of SXP production this year - even the COVID slow down had higher SXP production rates
- Nightfall SXP production continues to ramp up - on track to be the highest level this year
- Overall Prestige (SXP & NFP) combined is on track to be well below August Production
- SX production is on pace for its best month this year
- EX/SX Nightfall production has dropped considerably
- EX Premium Package is on pace to have its biggest month this year (great news for KIA as this probably has some of the highest margins of any trim level)
- S production has finally backed off the insanely high levels in previous months.

Typically, for most auto manufacturers the higher the trim the higher the profit margin so SX P probably provides highest profit, but who knows for sure.

@MarcinTexas ’s graphs are possibly my favorite part of this forum - love the data!

Was failcat not working? I haven't been following since I got my vin but I was checking my dealer and just for today they got 12 new vins. This never happened before.

Yeah, it hadn't been working right for a few weeks. Druke put in the fix and it began rebuilding from the oldest to the newest this afternoon. However, it seemed to stop with the 9/5 build date.

Yeah I figured out. Vin numbers serial didnt make sense. Still these 12 cars were made in 600 vins in between them. That’s not more than 2 days based in average 400+ a day. They now rank number 4 in MI

Holy crap!! I can't even describe to you the excitement in the reaction I had when I read that. Thanks so much, @StephenCantrelle !!!
Congrats! Your car is what I would have ordered if NE was out when I did! I would have reordered if it was that fast like you. I think NE is the best on ES. And Dune Brown interior is the best anyways. I envy you!

It now appears to have caught up to current. A total of 2007 records added. In reviewing the gaps when sorted by serial number - the oldest record added is from August 25th. Thank you @DruKe for the update.

My dealer told me, when I inquired about adding Nightfall to my SX Prestige (ordered in January) that my Telluride "is already being built and is fast path allocated for November." Already being built and will take until November? Who's building it, Johnny Cash? She went on to say, if I wanted to get Nightfall, I'd have to place a new order and I'd be looking at March or April. Does this sound right? I was really hoping I could tag the Nightfall package on to my existing order that has taken forever...

Yup that means it went into kfos. Doesn’t really mean they started making it, but kia has accepted your order and working on it. I attached a photo of mine when went to kfos you can check it. You now have an order number.
