Thank you for taking the time to explain!
Just to be clear, I believe that is what was said by the dealer, I am just pointing out that it can not be true.
Explained how it could work? I just don't see it. Going to use best case percentage I can think of. In the real world the numbers are 1/10th of what I post and most factory order could not be made under this system.
Lets say that kia is going to sell 20% of all cars in prestige class.
So 12,000 cars produce in the prestige class.
Lets say that 25% of them will be moss green.
So 3,000 Cars period.
Lets say that 50% of them will include tow package factory installed.
So, 1,500 cars. (750 at 25%.)
Let say that 50% of them will include Interior light kit.
So 750 cars. (1187 at 25%)
Lets say that 50% of them include illuminated scuff plates.
375 cars. (46 at 25%)
Lets say that 50% of them will include skid plate.
187 cars (12 at 25%)
Lets say that 50% of them will have bumper protector
93 cars (4 at 25%)
Lets say that 50% of them get Mud guard
46 (1 at 25%.)
Now those 46 cars will be produce over the next 12 months. Which lets say 3 cars a month. Those cars will ONLY be delivered by allocation. So lets say that there is basically 6 regions, NW SW NM SM NE SW. So each region might get up to 8 of this model over 1 year.
At 25% only 1 car will be produce period. That one car is my car. And by the math I stand a 1 in 6 chance of me getting it period over the next year.
A system like that can not work.
