Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... for the fix.Like others here, the ads just started today for me and I looked for a way to make it stop on my end .... unsuccessfully. I too was going to leave this forum because I don't want popup ads in my face every time I clicked a link.

Now if they could stop deleting links and replacing them with their store link. I’m ok with them ADDING their store link while keeping the original link!

We don’t replace links with anything. The forum software replaces specific unlinked words with links to items in the store. If you post a link to a product located on another site, our software does not change the landing page.
This topic is no longer about the pop-up ad that was created automatically, without our input, by the ad network that helps fund this site. The pop-up ad is gone.
