• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Rear windows not rolling up all of the way

For all the people that resetting did not work, try:
1. Roll down the window
2. Get an object to place in the way of the window
3. Use the one-touch feature and let it roll up on the object (do not hold the button up) it should automatically roll back down
4. Repeat 2 more times
5. Remove object
6. Roll window up and hold for 5 seconds
7. Roll window down and hold for 5 seconds
8. Roll window back up and hopefully it worked.
Thank you!!!!

One million thank yous. I had my car serviced at the dealership and got a new battery and experienced the same issue of window rolling up but falling down one inch. I took back to the dealership and they said I needed a new motor and would be about $700 but that I shouldn't do it with them just go outside somewhere. After Googling and trying to find a solution I just didn't believe it was the motor since it rolls up and down fine and sounded like the reset issue people were saying but it wasn't resetting. I did what you said and put a towel over the window and rolled up and down a few times and after a week of torment your post did the trick as it has done for so many others.
