• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Retrofit EX with SX LED headlights

Also I would hook both sides up with the regulators and led lamps and retest; or completely disconnect one side. I don’t know for certain but running one side with the factory halogen and the other with the LED may be confusing the CANBUS lamp system and contributing to the flicker.
One side is completely disconnected in all videos

So update. You were right about the regulators, they are more than enough. The issue is the damaged headlight I got on the drivers side. I attached the passenger side headlight which is practically brand new and attached the “bad” regulator to it and it is working flawlessly.

Me thinks I should get the LED ballast/driver from ebay which go for around $15 and see if that fixes it. If not then I am SOL and would have to buy a better used headlight or new. Fml

Looking good! I think I’d try a new LED driver before getting a new headlight. The OEM LED lamps themselves are generally Pretty robust. So barring an internal wiring fault or something I’d put my money on the driver being bad.

I installed machtig's harnesses today and it was done in 10 minutes. Truly plug and play and all the components were top shelf. Also, he was very responsive to any questions and offered pictures and advice on the mounting.
Pulling the bumper is probably the most challenging part but machtig supplied instructions and pictures for both the bumper and headlight removal. Very happy with the install and the LED output.

@machtig any chance you could/would share the bumper removal instructions here?

Just got delivery of Machtig's harness. Very nicely done and clean kit. Labelled passenger side and driver side. Just tested and it works like factory. There were no codes or bulb out warnings thrown. Can't wait to do the full bumper removal this weekend. This is perfect for me since I needed the bench seat option of the EX and wanted the headlights of the SX model. Thanks Machtig. Happy Thanksgiving! Awesome work here!

Awesome! Thank you sir. I only label the harnesses because of the way the wires lay and it makes for a cleaner installation; but they are swappable side to side if for some reason a person needed to do so for testing or what not. 👍🏻

Machtig, new here and trying to see if you had any harness/installation kits available and how much you are asking for them. Thanks.

same here, after a lot of searching I was brought here lots of great info and I would very much like to purchase your wiring harnesses, I just ordered a pair of headlights off of eBay and would like to not butcher my harness to install them.

Hi guys, I have the components to build a few more sets of harnesses. PM me and we can get started.

If I could figure out how to pm you I would machtig, my email is dieseldummy127@gmail I would definitely like to purchase your harnesses

New members cannot PM until they have been active enough on the forum. Usually meeting a minimum number of posts.

@machtig should probably setup an ordering website like @Scarlett did for his radiator screens. Seems like there is enough interest.

I’ve emailed everyone that has expressed interest. I apologize for the delay
