Telluride sx lift and larger tires

Anyone here knows if a larger sized spare will fit the spare tire area?

I got the 2" lift and waiting on some 265/60 R18 BF Goodrich T/A KO2's to come in, so now I'm looking around for an 18" steel wheel for a spare tire in the same size but am worried it won't fit where current donut is.
Diameter wise, it should fit. The problem is that it will hang lower which will be a departure angle problem if you off road it.

I was browsing through the other threads and did see someone post a pic of the same setup (2" lift and same size tires) and also said the same thing.

Then I also saw another thread about a rear tire hitch (Off Road wheels and tires). Looks like a good idea... and only adds another 35 lbs compared to adding roof rack (upTOP Overland Roof Rack for KIA Telluride) which weighs less than 70 lbs...

Guess I'll see how capable mine is on trails and fire roads before considering all the other stuff to put on it.

Crew, Back with a question I can't find an answer to in the forum threads.
I have the 2" Truxx lift kit, and have been on the hunt for the right Wheel/Tire combo to achieve no rubbing.
I have my heart set on the TSW Turbina, but they recently discontinued and my hunt has left me short of finding the fitment I need.
I was looking to run the 22" TSW Turbina at 9" wide and 37 Offset with a 265/40R22 Pirelli Scorpion Zero All Season Plus.
All I can find is the 22" TSW Turbina at 9.5" wide and 20 Offset... and would love to run the same tires.

I have utilized all the online tools and calculators, but i'm just not versed enough to understand the calculations and if it will rub, or not.
The scrub radius has definitely gone up a bit... theoretically 22MM.
Will this be OK???
The only thing I'm truly concerned about is rubbing, but I also go light off-roading for camping and do not want to decrease my sidewall anymore.

Thanks for any help!

I'm in a similar predicament with regards to worrying about rubbing once I install my Truxxx 2.5 inch lift kit and switch to 22 inch rims and tires. I am thinking of installing 22x9x35 rims with 265/35R/22 tires. I came across this website while searching for answers. It searches for wheels and tires based on your vehicle, suspension lift, amount of trimming and amount of rubbing. Hope it helps you answer your questions. Would like to hear everyone's thoughts as well.

2" Truxx lift with 265/60/18s on LP adventure wheels.

I just had my kit installed at a reputable shop but they struggled with alignment afterwards in the front right side specifically. Did anyone have any issues with this? Going back in for adjustments at the end of the week. 2022 Kia telluride SX with tow package and self leveling rear. Kit has the shock extenders, which is the only difference between the 30615 kits used in a lot of this threads installs.
What was the manufacturer of your lift kit?

I think you were looking for how much the tires stick out? Straight on, it's hard to see anything. The tires don't stick out much. Just enough to tell the world that these are not stock. BTW, if you have mud flaps, you may have to take them off.
@stanaka1 What are you getting MPG wise with your setup?

Really nice...mine is 2.5 in with Nito tires 265/50/20
Nicely done!! Did you add the running boards yourself? How do you like the functionality? With the two inch lift, I think my wife would maybe like a running board to step up…..

Actually the dealer did everything you see in the photo. It was all put together when I picked it up. Ordered the running boards when I placed the order for the car and the lifting and tires a day before picking it up. It rides great, noisier than the Michelins that were on the car, but you turn on the radio and that was that. I'm 6'4" so for me it works out just fine, my wife though, she is 5'5" and bitches about it all the time, but she is using the running boards, so we're ok.

Actually, it was all done before I picked up the car. I ordered the running boards when I placed the order for the Telly and the lift and tires were done 1 day before picking up. I live in Vegas and picked up from Denver. The ride is a bit noisier, but once you turn the radio on, the noise is gone. I'm 6'4" so for me it's quite alright actually, but my wife is 5'5" and she uses the boards. It looks cool and feels great to be able to be higher and see more stuff in traffic.

How does the lift kit work with the auto leveling feature? Didi your dealer explain what your need to do when towing something?

Looks great man

Looks good man.. I have an EX Telluride that came with the 18” wheels.. I had the Truxxx kit installed by a shop, and then went with a 20” wheel and 255/55/r20 Toyo Open Country AT3 tire.. Diameter of wheels and tires is 31”. I love it.. it’s tight, but no rub.. anything bigger and it would’ve rubbed.. adding the side steps and crossbars tomorrow..
What size tire would you suggest for an 18” rim. I’m looking into getting the trux 2.5” lift instead of the 2”. What do you think I’d be able to run tire wise on 18” rims?
