Telluride VIN Lookup Website

Our dealer told us we have a delivery date of 6/16- but it's not on the VIN lookup yet. Are they blowing smoke? Shouldn't the VIN have been created to have an ETA on delivery? Ordered in Jan.

ETA is just that....an Estimated Time of Arrival. Their assumptions are based on plant operations returning to normal. Hopefully that happens in another week.

In anticipation (ie... desperate hope) of the plant starting back up Monday, and to avoid the excitement of people seeing new cars pop up that are old, I've added the serial number to the website and sort by that by default. So now the default view will show cars sorted by when they're actually made.

I still want to add some kind of logic to figure out the actual create date based on serial number, but I figure this is good enough for now.

Are you having any issues in uploading new vins or is Kia not making enough tellurides lately? There weren’t any new cars added since Friday, and then today only 65 new ones were added.

Looks like they are pumping out VINs today, 157 VINs in the past 24 hours

These vin lookup tools are a blessing and a curse. Had an eta for May originally (pre-rona) and keep looking and looking, hoping that maybe it would atleast be produced in May...no luck. Now I learn new eta is in August...kick to the nuts. I guess it is what it is, this entire thing is out of everyone’s control. Let’s just hope no more shutdowns or delays and we get out of this mess as a country.

Mine was may 1st before the pandemic now its july 7th and they said it might get delayed.

My expected date was May 8 as of a month ago for my EX, I guess I’ll be reaching out to the dealer to see if they got an updated ETA. I know full well it’s delayed, just curious how long now.

I was Scheduled to get my car at the end of April, but due to the plant being shutdown and the slowed down production i figured i wouldn't be getting my car until end of summer. To my surprise my dealer called me on Monday telling me the car had arrived at the dealership. Now I've been watching the vin number look-up site religiously and I even have done a search with my dealers I.d. number and my car hasn't been entered in there so it was certainly a nice surprise. Im going to go pick up my Dark moss SX Grey Prestige package Interior Telluride today!

Yeah - I am convinced the tool isn't updating properly. Gaps, missing data, catch up data, days without updates. It is like it it hasn't regularly been updated in a couple of months - going back to pre-shut down days.
