In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. Telluride VIN Lookup Website

@kittyne
Yeah, an Ebony Black FWD SX with Espresso Interior. Description matches window sticker. But that vehicle was delivered to someone and sold months ago.

if that isn’t correct, when do I actually get a Vin? I placed order in February

VIN will be assigned at end of process just before delivery. 2020 production is basically finished, so your vehicle will be a 2021. But, it's up to your dealer to order it. Maybe a VIN in August or September? Your dealer will know where you are in their queue. Check with sales manager.

New car with 151 miles? Doesn’t sound right

That's the VIN they gave you? That vehicle would have been delivered a long time ago, and it would already be sold. Current VINs are in the 94000 range. 67000 was probably built around January.

VIN 5XYP54HC9LG067877 was produced December 17, 2019 and sold to Shawnee Mission Kia (7951 SHAWNEE MISSION PARKWAY, MERRIAM KS, 66202). I am sure that Telluride has already been sold a while back. Unless it is a demo model at the dealer.

Hey guys. I’ve been lurking here for a bit. It’s pretty wild how much info there is.

Question for the lookup website when you are searching by dealer.

Is that list every car that has come through the dealership, including vehicles already in the hands of the buyers? Or is it only a list of cars in the process of being allocated/built/delivered.

Just wondering what the list per dealer truly represents.

I’m trying to figure out if the car I put a deposit on is even one of those on the list. I put money down on an allocated one that has since been pushed to 2021

Thanks. Hope that made any sort of sense. Ha
Yes, the list is past and present Tellurides that have been/will be delivered to the dealership.

Ok, I've been searching for a while but haven't been able to find a clear cut answer here. I checked the lookup site today and I think I found what is likely my window sticker.
Does anyone know for sure what stage the vehicle is at when the window sticker shows up on the lookup site? I've heard everything from it's produced to it's 7-14 days from being produced.

It's been produced. Awaiting transport.

Sure, np. FWIW, my production date on vehicle matched the date the VIN appeared. They generally have final testing to do and then transport.
I got an eta of 8/15 from my dealer a few weeks ago. I'm guessing it's probably going to come sooner if it's already been produced. I wonder if I got bumped up in line with a lot of sx's getting pushed to 2021s.

Possibly they only had parts for non-SX vehicles - would make sense for 2020 vehicles and current supplier contracts. If that's definitely your vehicle and it's been produced, then it should arrive within 2-4 weeks. But, I don't know what the current transport situation looks like. Your dealer will get an updated ETA in system. Mine took 2 weeks from production to Southeast Texas.

So you are getting a 2020 then?

Emailed my dealer and just got a response. The sticker I sent them is my car. 2020 ETA 7/15. Now I have a decision to make. I really don't want to pay sticker for the end of a model year. On top of that, I'm getting an EX P/T. So no auto start, led headlights, 7 pin connector or improved rear heater for me. Thinking if I can't negotiate the price down a bit I'm probably going to do this all over again.

Keep in mind that sticker will likely be higher for 2021. Always a trade-off. I bet that's why Kia's holding out on price info right now. Still want to move 2020s that are inbound.

The auto start alone is going to cost $600 to install at a local shop. I'm guessing the base price won't go up much more than that if it's even that much.

@DruKe Noticed that all the VIN for 6/17/2020 are all "S" trim. Seems odd to me. What say you?
