• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Text Alerts through Bluetooth Issue

I upgraded to a new Android phone a few months ago, and I haven't received any phantom texts since. I actually kind of miss them.

Glad to hear it and thanks for following up on the post. I got a new Pixel 4A in late 2020 and can't remember if I even re-tested the issue. I'm so used to not having text alerts on now that I don't miss it. I'll give it a try though if I can remember where the darn setting is. :)
 
New 2022 palisade owner here and having the same issue w/Samsung S21 phone.
