If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Thule Cross Bar Installed

I currently have the WingBar EVO setup on my passat, and like it. However, I do enjoy the look of AeroBlade edge more, it looks a bit more integrated. And since this is available for the Telluride I may lean that way. From What I gather, the drawbacks of going with the AeroBlade setup would be possible lower sunroof clearance, and not as much area to mount attachments.

Am I missing anything else between the two?

yes, it’s true that the flush rail flares out (or in, I forget) as you move to the front. It was unexpected.

I didn’t have a problem with the Wingbar Evo since it extends beyond the rails, but I can imagine the Aeroblade would have issues since it mounts “inside” the flush rails. I hope the Thule configuration tool correctly identified exactly what you needed for your install.

Do you have any pictures of your install? I’ll be interested in seeing how the Aeroblades look compared to the Wingbar.
I’m so sad I’ve got the evo 150 bars and I can’t get my kit to move back far enough because of the flare. Why did they do that? This is infuriating!! So from what I’m reading I need 2 different sized bars??? 😭😭

Trying to find a fit kit for either the podium 460R or the evo flush rail. They are impossible to find in stores and online. Anyone have an in or know a business who has these things in stock?

Facebook marketplace is your best bet!!!

You may have already see this thread Thule Roof Rack Available for Ordering

The recommended bar is the WingBar Evo 135 (135cm/53"), which is what I got. You can technically get their longest, the WingBar Evo 150 (150cm/60") to get even more overhang, although I don't know how that would look. This is assuming that you don’t exceed KT/Thule maximum load rating!
I’m thinking I’d like to try the Evo 150 instead of the 135 but what would limit it? I’m thinking it would look good and give a little more space.

Nothing, I was just referring to the fact that since it's wider you'll be able carry more stuff, thus you may or may not exceed KIA's recommendation.

I cant find the Thule fit kit anywhere. Saw this on Amazon and bought the last one.
let's see how if they're any good.

here's another one in stock.

Finally found and order the Thule Evo Flush Fit Kit (186095) with Evo Flush (710601) and Wingbar Evo 135 53" Black (711420) in stock from Canada.
Got tracking number today. Paid $642.68 USD with shipping. Not bad considering I would have to pay for tax if they were available locally.
Quick, looks like they only have 2 left in stock. You'll need to buy the whole setup from them though. they wont sell the fit kit separately.

Congratulations on getting set up. I ended up going with the Vikofan crossbars on Amazon. They are very similar to the oems. I needed to get set up before a road trip. They've done well so far for the price. I may upgrade to the thules someday if I need extra space. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08HS63GB1?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

You have liked these so far? No issues? How about wind noise while it highway speeds? I do not need them for much so would like to get a cheaper set, these look nice, just wanted a little more experience info from an owner

So far they have been good. The biggest issue I had was 2 of the clamps were a bit loose on the mounts. It took a bit of effort to tighten down but not a big deal. I mounted them per the directions which seemed like they were kinda close together but I think these are Kia's specifications.

Wind noise was minimal until I put the cargo box up there. Driving at speeds of 70 to 85 mph posed no issues.

There is also another brand of these exact same crossbars called snail fly. They have many more reviews and they are all very positive which helped me solidify my decision to pick these up. The discount was better on the Vikofans though. I first heard about them on this forum here.

I appreciate your response. I will look them over and see which ones to ultimately go off. I try to follow a bunch of the threads, but they sometimes spin off into something else completely, but this site has proven valuable for a lot of things, this being one of them.

Installed. Super fast shipping.

Am I the only one who finds all this extremely confusing?

I've never bought anything Thule , but based on my perception of their reputation, I assumed, they would have a great website that explained everything in great detail, and/or allowed you to go in, tell them what your vehicle was and they would show you exactly what your options are, etc... So far, I don't see this, and it's frustrating.

Now, having said that, I honestly don't have a big need for the cross arm stuff right now, if I buy it, it's largely going to be to try and 'be prepared' as my boy scout training has instilled in me . ( actually I don't have hardly any boy scout training) I just know that if the day comes where i do need this stuff, I'd rather not be fumbling around in the days leading up to a real need for this kind of thing.

@Wiluride
They have a fit my car form.

Thanks, that's helpful

So, when they say for a 'foot', the maximum is 165 pounds... If there was a bar that could handle 330 pounds , a person could attach that bar to , two feet and it would handle the 330 pounds?

165 lbs would be the max for the whole setup. So if you put a cargo box thats 50 lbs, you can only stuff about 115 lbs. of stuff in it.

Installed. Super fast shipping.
It's a beautiful setup. I'm jealous. If I would have come across this canadian website well before our trip I would have picked them up too. Thanks for posting the pics.
