If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... What did you pay for your KIA Telluride?

$1000k for a Kia seems crazy. You can get a fleet of Bentleys for that much scratch.

Good luck and god speed on your "Telly" journey. It seems to differ in each part of the country. I can tell you in the NY/NJ area in the last few months of the summer it was difficult if you were trying to get lower than MSRP. Many dealerships were actually charging 3K to 5K over MSRP and they were getting it. Patience as in everything in life is the key. We found our Moss Green EX with AWD and bench middle row outside of Philly and we got it with $1500 incentive. We would have paid for the car at the dealership but wanted to get the incentive and paid it off on the first payment.

Which dealership did you use?

I was there to check out the ride, test drove the car, very nice, finally I got the opportunity to see the black copper live, and fortunately there was another ebony black next to it. There is no much difference anyways.
Was this the Dune or Butterscotch interior? I was told the Black Copper SXP AWD could only come in Dune Nappa Leather color.

That what I have on order! I wanted the dune interior I don t know if there were other choices

Picked up my Telluride on Saturday after a 10 week wait. Paid MSRP with 2.9% financing and the $1,000 rebate with no dealer add-ons. I highly recommend Bill Dodge Kia in Westbrook, ME to anyone in New England looking to purchase a Telluride. Ask for Quentin Chard or Chris Sharples - they will treat you right!

I refuse to pay MSRP for any vehicle, and the fact that some dealers are charging over MSRP is a huge turnoff for the Kia brand. We are looking at them, but getting turned away and turning toward other brands.

Yeah, well there are some KMF rebates that can help offset the MSRP - so you can pay less than MSRP. But, only if you order with right dealer. You can call around, and check out Kia dealerships near you, but you're likely just going to get frustrated and turn toward those other brands. Those other brands, however, will gladly take your sale. That may be best bet for you right now, and then check out again in several years when inventory situation normalizes. Don't forget to check out the Sorento... nice vehicle, in stock, and major discounts. Personally, I was able to negotiate to about $2000 under MSRP, but only after KMF rebates were applied. Happy nevertheless. If Kia's MSRP were several thousand higher, dealerships would have more wiggle room to offer their own discounts... but not in the current state of the market.

Can one of our dealer forum members (Jason fox) confirm this?

I talked to Jason and he was able to submit orders fine, I think the dealership I went too was lying and didn’t want me to custom order. They had some FWD LX on the lot and was pushing those. FWD in east coast winters (Snow) and I drive an hour out of state to work going and coming, Oh hell naw...

Can you explain to me what this 1500 incentive is? I am in the NJ/NY PHL area and also looking for Moss EX AWD w toe package

I assume onelife was referring to the $1,500 rebate KIA was offering in the early spring if you financed through KIA Motors Finance (KMF). That amount is no longer offered as it was reduced to $1,000 sometime in the summer. I do not know what the current incentives are but you can find threads on this forum discussing current incentives and interest rates being offered through KMF

Total including tax for white SXP ( SX Limited with nappa) in Canada was C$67000 which with exchange rate is US$ 50000.
So roughly the same

The dealership I first ordered the black copper that was asking for 6-7k above MSRP reached out to me today saying:

"Hey Olawale, we still have your car on the showroom floor. If we come down a little more on our price would you be able to come in tomorrow to pick it up?"
Sent me the picture again thinking it would catch my eyes and my brain...that trick would never work.
Then I replied asking is it gonna be sold @ MSRP?

Reply was:
"Negative. There is no way I can sell it at MSRP. You cant find one of these at MSRP anywhere. Not even a used one"

Then I ended the conversation. I would have referred them to another dealership that sells @MSRP but that would be petty on my own side.
