• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Do you have the towing package? If so, have you noticed any sag in the rear?
No I don't have the tow kit.
I plan on adding that later.

Can you tell me the exact product you purchased and explain how you did this? I like the look of it
For the horizontal black stripes along the gate, they are just 5/16 Prostripes from Peb Boys or Autozone. Just use a ruler and a marker to mark points (every 6 in or so) along the edge where (how far you want from the edge) you want the stripes to run so you’ll get a straight line. It’s very easy to do.

If you meant the vertical white lines between the backup lights and the rear lights, it‘s just some 1 in white wrap for cars. I had to use the wrap there because of the backup lens was not all straight , and I wanted to cover the side too since the gap was big and visible. It still didn’t turn out good so I removed them. I also changed the black pinstripes to silver to soften the lines a little. Dark gray would be my next try.

Sorry, the reflection on the car doesn’t show the lines very well.

Out of curiosity (because I am doing the g2 purple as well) how bright is it from a distance? Say maybe 10 yards away? Does it actually stand out pretty well? One last question did you go straight over stock calipers or did you paint them a different color first? I'm thinking to maybe make the purple a shade brighter to do a white base coat instead of the grey I currently have on mine. Thanks for any help.

The G2 kit comes with brake cleaner, i used that liberally on all calipers and then put on the caliper paint. Have to do all 4 wheels at once. Barely noticeable from a distance.

Looks real good. Where did you order your kit from? I am looking into doing mine in the future. Couple months 😁

Oh for sure brake cleaner is a MUST. I was really hoping for them to be noticeable from a distance that's kind of a disappointment. May have to explore a couple different avenues. I know with the G2 once you start there's no turning back you basically have to use it or forfeit the can and contents. It looks dope for sure keep up the modding..

Another option is the white G2 paired with opaque epoxy dye of your color choice, chameleon, florescent, unique color, custom blend, etc.

Your front grill looks great. Can you please post a couple of pics of your front grill and describe how you did the kia delete?

Easy to install and cheap. All the seats now have accent lighting...

Did you do the fuse install? I had the cigarette port powered ones (different brand) before and they stopped working. Like the lights would work if I wiggled the cigarette plug after a few months.

I pick up my car on Monday and got everything lined up to get added in the next week:

- Canadian black side steps
- Canadian 60/40 split cargo liner
- Weathertech floormats
- Kicker HS10 under the seat subwoofer
- AudioControl LC2i
- Gloss Black Vossen HF4T 20x8.5
- Hyperdip the Emblems Piano Black
- STEK DYNOshield Full front and Windshield PPF
- Modesta BC-04 Ceramic Coat car
- Protection coat interior, wheels, and glass
- STEK Window Tint all windows, windshield, and sunroof
- Red Painted Calipers

I'll try to do a video installation of the Canadian black side steps and post here along with some before and after pics.
I just installed my Canadian black side steps today.. I'm not sure if I did it correctly. If you have that video, or any install tips I would greatly appreciate it! I can be reached via email at arossteven@yahoo.com Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance!
