• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I have a wind noise from the driver side I went to the dealer to fix the issue but unfortunately nothing has been done

Same here. Wind noise from the drivers side. It gets annoying sometimes and sounds like wind is leaking into the door area. Called the dealer and he didn't have any idea about it.

Yes I get frustrating wind noise on driver's side even going at low speed. Brought it to dealer 3 times already and issue still unresolved. Dealer replaced the rubber seal around the driver door. Same problem exists. No wonder it's a KIA ! Paid almost 40k for it and now stuck w/ it for life !

Dealer name, city, and state?

This is a well known issue over on the palisade forums. The door seals used by telluride/palisade are in some way defective. Nobody has found a solution yet :\

No noise on my SX trim, and folks aren't complaining about the Limited trim on Palisade. Perhaps only on lower trims for some reason? I thought the Palisade SEL I drove was louder than my SX.

No, I've seen the issue reported on all trims. The door seals are no different. I think it matters how much cross/head winds you get.

More than defective are low quality no issues on mine but I'm sure will have to do something soon/later

People ARE complaining about the Limited trim also, I have one, and I have the dreaded wind noise...

We're about to order ours so I haven't seen what the door trim looks like, but Ford had a similar issue. A cool fix that I did (not my own idea) was to take some small surgical tubing and run it through the open space in the door seal. It requires taking off the door seal to slide it in, but that's easy enough and it fixed my issue. You're basically adding some mass to the seal to make it thicker when compressed.

Just wondering! I don't see any Kia TSB posted in the Bulletin/TSB section of this forum with a proposed fix. What is the status of this issue on the Tellurides? Perhaps there is a more recent thread addressing this problem. There are 2 TSBs for this issue for the Palisade.

Just took another long trip - 1,400 highway miles. Typically I have not had any wind noise issues, however, there was a stiff cross-wind and that definitely created wind noises inside the cabin.

We have the trim issue on both driver and passenger side coming loose. Good news is dealer will replace it under warranty.

My question is what is the Telluride cabin supposed to sound like when going 50mph and faster. Ours sounds like a window is slightly cracked or as my wife says like inside an airplane. I hear on the Facebook group how quiet the Telluride is . . .but I need to see videos of what a quiet one sounds like. Can anyone post videos of their super quiet Telluride at 50 mph and 70 mph.

Fixing the trim issue will most likely fix the noise problem.

I have definitely noticed wind noise at times, drivers side, only seems to happen in a cross wind (which I get fairly often on my normal rat paths).

I wouldn’t have described it as wind coming into the cabin, though, mine sounds more like whistling that you get from roof racks, side mirrors or body trim. I’ll pay closer attention next time it crops up.

Same here. When driving it sounds like there is a minor seal leak on the driver side passenger window. It's a subtle hiss but easily heard. I can't find a seal leak on my own. In driver seat it's almost all I can hear just behind my left ear.

I sat in the back seat yesterday while my wife drove and it's even more noticeable from the back seats.

Glad to hear I'm not crazy or the only one with the issue.

On my 2019 Kia Sorento SX-L, I had a slight leak from the panoramic roof. Right at the top where the sunroof met the roof seal by the windshield. I had to loosen up the track screws and lower the glass track down about 1mm more so the sunroof glass pressed against the seal tighter.

Granted it seems everyone is chasing sounds from their door seals but I thought this sound was from my door at first too till i slightly pushed up on the sunroof glass at speed and heard it get louder.

I know the Sorento is not the same, but just throwing this out there in case it gives someone an idea to look into. Not every wind leak will come from the exact same place. There is always a margin of error for every panel fitment, to include door and glass gaps.
