The KIA Telluride in Gravity Grey

The other part that I think is interesting is whether to do nightfall with GG...I thought it was too much in black, but decent in GG. BUT Reason I didn’t go with it is the SX black rims are different from NF. So if you get SX with NF package you get the NF rims. I’m not a fan of the NF rims look compared to SX black rims. So all together GG looked good without NF, with SX black rims, and the contrast of Dune interior.
Went with GG SXP Nightfall w Dune. Never planned to keep stock wheels, but the Nightfall wheels are fugly

great choices!!! That was in our finalists for color combos!

Here's my 2021 GG Nightfall SX in a couple different lighting situations and different phone cameras. We went with a black interior and added 35% tint to the front and 70% tint to the rear windows.

I went gravity grey/dune without ever seeing it either!!! Still haven’t seen one but I guarantee it’s going to be one of the nicest combos.
The Dune is amazing! Love the look, so premium and luxurious!

Getting my Telluride Gravity Gray SX next week with black interior.

I originally wanted a Dark Moss but the more I looked at it the more unsure about the color going years forward. I like the white but I find it impractical. I found ebony black too dull. Never saw a copper black. Hate the everlasting silver. Wasn't enthused by the Sangria (when viewed from a distance). Gravity Gray sold me on the off black. Just enough spec to not be boring and likely will show dirt and dust less than ebony.

Going to get it ceramic treated.
How much are you spending on ceramic?

Depends on what you're looking for.... If gold lifetime warranty with annual visits lowest price thus far quoted was $1000.

But you got lower levels of pricing with singular layer of 9h

I just changed my order from Glacier White Pearl to the Gravity Gray with Nightfall and Dune 😬.
I just keep seeing white Tellurides around town, wanted a less common color. I’ve never seen the Gravity Grey in person, so a bit of a leap of faith.
So now that I’ve finalized the change I’m a bit nervous going with the Dune interior... I’ve never seen the combination in person, so I’m hoping someone here has and is willing to share their opinion. If you own one, well then pictures would be even better!
I really don’t want black, the grey is too light, and I’m “meh” on the butterscotch.
Thanks y’all!

You made a great choice in the dune.

Awesome. Thank you!

For anyone who owns this color, I understand it’s a bit of a chamaeleon in different lighting. Would y’all say it looks more gray or blue most of the time in direct sunlight? Seems like it looks different in every photo or video I see. Sometimes it looks badass in nightfall, and sometimes not as much. Just wondering how it is in person.
I know the simple answer is to see it for myself, none are available to look at in my smallish town.

Thanks y’all!

I think all tellurides (except maybe white and black) are chameleons. It is grey most of the time. I only detect blue when it is very sunny and some of the metallic particles are reflecting the blue sky...It is a very beautiful shade of grey and has a lot of depth to it

In this pic, you can see the difference between the colour on the side of the car (metallic grey) and the blue colour on top that is a picking up blue tones from the sky.

I do think it looks very bad ass in nightfall ;)

Thanks! Exactly what I needed to hear!

What's the equal % of your rear window? Factory has 20% tint right? Just trying to figure out the math of tinting over the factory tint.

At the shop they measured a OEM tint on 28%. Number seems to vary from car to car. Adding the two together is ~20%, but honestly I don't think it 20% when I look at in person. I think the 70% is clear enough that it didn't make the rears much darker. The front and rears look really close to each other.

Anyone else have pics of Gravity Gray in nightfall? I live in the desert where it’s very sunny most of the time, I want a medium to dark gray but don’t love the blue undertones I’ve seen in pictures with the nightfall. Am I over thinking this? I guess I need to see one in person somehow. 😩

If you are dead set on GG. I think the non NF looks better, IMO. If you want a medium gray, Everlasting Silver looks better with Nightfall. If it’s sunny most of the time you won’t get the blue hue on that one that you see when it’s cloudy sometimes. The contrast between the ES and the dark looks sharper to me.

Picked up my new whip tonight.
Forgot to take picture of 7pin hitch.
I will install weathertech mud flaps in the next days.
Haven't ceramic coated yet. Still debating and looking into PPF.
Looks nice! What’s your opinion of the gravity gray? How would you describe it?
I have one on order, I think I’ve seen every color except gravity gray and sangria in person. Which makes me a bit nervous.

Well considering I bought Gravity Gray, it's my choice color lol.

I've seen every color except black copper. Based on sales stats it's a unicorn. Nor have I seen gray wolf (not yet available Canada). I wouldn't have gotten gray wolf anyways because it's a color that many car makers have done in the past year... I see that color galore.

I hated black ebony, found it extremely dull. Plus impractical with dust. I like Snow Pearl white but again, impractical and worse for scratches.

Initially I was going to go Dark Moss because it's such an exclusive color. But as I was getting ready to buy, I re-checked it out (last time I checked was 2020 and I wanted quirks worked out first so waited 2021), wasn't in love with the color... Didn't think that color would be liked 5 years down the road and even less 10 years later.

I never liked everlasting silver. My last car was a true silver metallic highly reflective when detailed. Everlasting silver is like a trim silver to me.

I saw Sangria and again, wasn't in love with the color from afar. Up close it's a really dark red wine... From afar, it was much lighter, call it a young wine. Not my taste.

Gravity gray to me is just perfect. It's off black. Likely won't show dust as well as ebony black. Depending on lighting conditions it's nearly black with some metallic dust or a nice metallic gray. On a really nice day you may get some blue sky reflected into it turning it light grayish blue.

Again, color is purely personal. So there's no right or wrong choice.
