Are you talking about ordering from the factory or picking something off the lot? Pricing is different for those two scenarios.Any dealers in the MD/DC area not charging $5-10K over MSRP right now? Can't seem to find any!
I’m seeing people ordering getting SX in 2-3 months and EX even quicker. My experience is that the dealers who do not charge above MSRP are rare and the wait is 8-10 months or more in such a case.
I ordered around the same time from Nationwide and mine still isn’t showing up on Failcat. Congrats!Picked up our Telly from Nationwide Kia today after ordering in mid-June so < 6 weeks from order to delivery! I lucked out on both the early delivery and managed to order at MSRP. Started in July they are charging $1k-2.5k depending upon trim level for factory orders. Spent a little more time than I expected at close to 3 hours (had to wait on prep and we had to travel to their Nissan dealership to finalize finance since the KIA finance manager was OoO). When I bought my Accord via emailing I was in and out within an hour.

If ordering I know Bob Bell Kia in Baltimore and Parsons in Winchester VA are ordering at MSRP. Bob Bell quoted 3-4 months and Parsons quoted 3-6 months. There are a few in PA as well if you search the forum. I don't know of any that will sell off the lot at MSRP and the ones that would probably don't have anything on the lot to sell.Any dealers in the MD/DC area not charging $5-10K over MSRP right now? A few posts up also refers to Nationwide Kia which is in Maryland IIRC.If ordering I know Bob Bell Kia in Baltimore and Parsons in Winchester VA are ordering at MSRP. Yes but Nationwide stopped doing MSRP near the end of June. I spoke with them and they wanted $2500 over sticker.A few posts up also refers to Nationwide Kia which is in Maryland IIRC.
Either. I don’t mind paying msrp. I’m not willing to pay the $7k to 10k “additional dealer charge”.Are you talking about ordering from the factory or picking something off the lot? Pricing is different for those two scenarios.
Let me know what you decide fly and drive or transport. I ordered from i25 and live in the Bay Area as well. Please share details about order and delivery time. ThanksOrdered 2022 EX, Glacier White exterior, Gray interior, AWD, Towing package.
Placed an order with Dumitru Pop from i25 kia in CO. The process was seamless - Sent an email with the request, exchanged few emails with details,
call back in few hours, paid deposit and boom done.. Highly recommend him - dpop@i25kia.com
I am in CA and still undecided between having the car shipped or flying one-way and driving 1200 miles. Appreciate advise from folks who drove back...
Is it okay to drive long distances with same speed.. Is there a "break-in" period for the car?
Then your best bet is probably ordering from the factory and getting the configuration you want.Either. I don’t mind paying msrp
Timbrook KIA in Cumberland, MD is MSRP. Timbrook Kia: Kia Dealership in Cumberland, MD Ask for Michael Marvin.Any dealers in the MD/DC area not charging $5-10K over MSRP right now? Can't seem to find any!
I do think it is very interesting that dealers can get huge markups of 20-30% when a little patience can net someone MSRP pricing. I think it says a lot about people’s ability to wait.It is astonishing to me that people are paying 10k above MSRP. That being said, the price paid is still cheaper than an X7 or GMC Yukon Denali. I’m ok with “custom” ordering the Telly at MSRP and waiting since Ken Russian at Lev Kia (Framingham, MA) was up front about the wait time and wants to earn customers business by selling at MSRP. About 8 months to go!
