• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... 2022 Telluride hard seats?

If you can give the model and trim package, this would help. I have the SX with the Prestige. Despite using Napa leather as a description, I can't say there is anything remotely soft of supple about them. The remind me of German seats without the extra controls of bolsters and lower back support. I can't say my Audi or BMW leather was much better but the seats felt better. As far as seat comfort, nothing compares to US Premium models like Cadillac or Lincoln if you want to drive around feeling like your sitting on a couch.

Very satisfied with ours. Plenty of adjustment options to make a comfortable ride. Softest headrests I've ever experienced too! Lol
SX leather not napa

My 2020 SXP feels to me somewhere between the firmness of my last Audi A6 Prestige and the softness of a Lexus RX. Just right. 👌

I haven't had to spend >1h in them yet, but I'm very happy so far with the balance. I don't like couch-soft seats in my dad's Fords, but also am getting a little old for sports-car or European firmness. These are pretty much Goldilocks.

Completely agreed with everything. Nothing beats the seats in Cadillacs or Lincolns. I had high expectations for my first Nappa leather seats but it doesn’t feel anything special but sore butt in long drives.

I have a 2022 Telluride and really like it but the seats seem to be too hard during longer drives.. Anyone experience the same problem?
Yes! I wish they had more cushion. They are extremely firm and my tailbone hurts after riding. I love everything else about the vehicle, but man, I need a pillow!

a 12 hour round trip over labor day weekend (one 7hr stint out, and a 5hr return)- no issues with comfort at all - comfort is kind of a personal thing. The seats are a little firm, but I prefer that to overly soft. This car is a breeze to drive for extended periods.
2021 SX.

My SX Prestige has conveyed us in comfort through multiple long road trips. I like my car seats like my saddles — firm and supportive (but not hard like a cheap rental car). My complaint with the passenger seat is a need for greater lumbar support.

I read somewhere that the nappa on the prestige are much firmer than the "plain leather" in the SX.

I have non-Napa butterscotch leather in my SX and find it quite nice. Maybe your butt is too soft? 😇

I came from a Ford Expedition Limited, and I too think the SX Telly seats are Hard!!!!

I have the 2022 SX Nightfall with. Napa leather. I feel they are hard for long distance drives which I do. I bought a seat cushion on Amazon and use that.

Just returned from a 600+ mile camping trip towing our camper. My wife complained that the passenger seat is too hard especially sitting that long. She just got a custom seat cushion that we hope works. Have another long camping trip coming up in January.

I can say i agree... i had gotten a lil stiff as well... my wife complained too.. so o know the next time... im sure to have some type of seat cushions

First thing I noticed on the test drive, euro style, thin firm seats. Great for euro style, thin people, im not, I am a well fed muscular American man at 220 pounds, the seats suck, but I love the telly. Exactly what I told the salesman, he said it was the #1 thing test drivers complained about the most, the seat firmness. A seat can be plush, yet firm and supporting. They did so well on everything but the seats internal foam, they skimped, big time. Those that don't have problem with it, your lucky, but I bet you didn't buy furniture or beds made the same way, lol. They are firm, no question, but at least ergomical for the most part. Reminds me of an airline seat, firm and I can't find a decent way to rest my arm.

Why? I would think this is a problem for thin people since we have little cushions of our own 😀. Just got back from a 9 hrs drive and decided to get extra buffers. It was so unbearable I had to use a fold blanket to ease the pain. To be honest, if had sat in my Mazda that long it probably would be the same.

Will see if this help.
