If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... What did you pay for your KIA Telluride?

When I ordered my sxp I used the online builder. Added in what I wanted and the dealer printed off a copy with the price and had me sign it. I was told the incentives in place when I took delivery would apply. The sales guy took the stuff and got my in the system and ordered the car. He came back later and said everything was good. A couple of days later I asked if I could use my founders club coupon and he said I could and took a copy of that. Just waiting on a delivery date. I ordered late April.
What founders club coupon?

What founders club coupon?
Before the Telluride was released you could join the founders club online. When the car was released they send those who signed up a coupon for 1 payment reimbursement or one year of xm radio covered.

They marked it up to about $55k
I just purchased my SX Limited (Prestige) here in Canada on Monday and they tried to charge above MSRP stating that KIA is recommending it given the popularity and availability of the vehicle (supply vs demand). I refused to pay more than MSRP and knew going in that MSRP is approx 6.5% above cost on these. I ended up paying 2% above cost.

Did you end up paying $55k of mark up? Regardless, I think you should write a bad review on the Peak Kia. It looks like they care about the online reviews. It's so sad my nearest Kia dealer is so unethical.

I did. And I will sooner than later.

I am in Dallas, TX and was able to get $2900 in incentives, plus they took $1000 off because I refused to pay the transportation fee and the removed the $800 worth of dealer add on's (Wheel Locks, Cargo Matt, Pin Stripe and Window Tint). Not the greatest deal but I thought it was good for a new vehicle launch.
Thanks for sharing, Razorback. If you don't mind could you pm me the sales person's contact? I am interested in a S trim, and want to see if can make a deal with them. Thanks again!

Is it realistic to get MSRP out the door if the only incentive I qualified for is the fianance incentive?

No, it is not realistic to get MSRP out the door with just the finance incentive.

Thanks for the honest response. I'm gonna try it and report back with my results.

Amen! Just because it isn't realistic, does not mean you shouldn't go for what you want. Best to you!!

In my experience (southeast US) you’ll be lucky to find a dealer that will sell at MSRP. Then take off your 1,500 and add taxes and title fees. That’s the best deal I’m finding. 85% of dealers I talk to are marking up $5000 or “nitro tires and paint protection” which is essentially an addendum of $2000. Good luck to you!

I figured as much. I am in northern va and the only quote I've been given is an S trim for 40k.

It'll be interesting how things will shape up in the fall for pricing on the lower trims.

If you are willing to travel to OH, my dealer refuses to charge over MSRP. They are really honest and fair. Any in stock telluride will be sold at msrp; but if you order one they discount them at least 1,500 or so, plus you get all incentives.

Luvcats, I’m in Northern VA and heard that same B.S from Dulles and Fairfax Kia. Finally found Browns Kia in Manassas who did not try and mark up my AWD S above MSRP. We started at MSRP and then applied incentives, etc.

I would check them out if you haven’t tried them yet. I worked with John Sasso. Others sales folks tried to play some of these same games. Good luck.
