Order to delivery time

I just spoke to my saleswoman at Gossett Kia on Covington Pike and she said that the factory is just now picking up orders from January. On another note, there was a big truck full of brand new tellurides flipped over on I-40 in the last two weeks…. About 10 of them and I know that just pushes things back even more. I feel for everyone who’s car was on there.. I haven’t been given any updates on my car

Hello, this is my first time posting, so hopefully I'm not asking a repeat question. I placed an order for an SX FWD Everlasting Silver w/ Butterscotch interior on Nov 20. Was told 6 month average. By May (6 months later), I hadn't heard anything so asked about it. Was told ETA of 8/15, which is ok I guess, just more wait time. My question is in the status codes. I read some where about that FA is Factory Authorized and TN is related to Transit and occurs after the cars been manufactured. What's weird is the screenshot I got shows:

FA - 08.15.22
FA - 06.10.22
TN - 06.01.22

Why are there two FA dates and does the TN mean something else here? Why is it before the FA date?

I can confirm that Gossett Covington is just now getting VINs for orders placed in January. I received mine on 7/28 and ordered 1/10.

We ordered on 1/8 and salesman finally gave us an update last week. Said we should see something in the next 45 days.

At this point it's a guessing game. I ordered on 2/15 and has not been picked up, I am assuming mine will be a 23 which I am fine with. The waiting and not getting any updates is a killer but I know it will be totally worth it.

I would estimate ~7-8 months from your order date with Gossett. So, mid-late October would be my guess for your order. That’s just a guess, though.

In the 7 months I waited, I had zero proactive updates from my sales rep. I called her every month asking for an update and got the same response every time. I finally spotted a window sticker that matched my specs on Failcat and verified it was mine by calling my rep. At that point, I only had 2 more weeks until the vechile would be delivered.

I looked about an hour ago and there is a new update from Monday but it’s not my car yet! They have updated 3 cars in the past 2 weeks! A timely manner compared to what’s been going on.

I ordered from Moritz Alliance on Nov 1st. Got a text in June that our car was finally picked up and would be in in August. So I got excited as August rolled around of course. As my luck would have it, we got a text on Monday that it was pushed back to October 4th!!! The waiting is absolutely killer especially since we were expecting it this month. I've seen so many people who have ordered after us and already received their vehicles. I don't get it. Perhaps we made a mistake ordering from the dealer we did but I guess it is what it is! We continue to wait.

Exciting news, @Go Fast or Go Home ! I was really hoping for a '22 model and have been assured that is what I'll receive. I ordered in Southeast Virginia on 4/21/22 but wasn't notified by my dealer that I had been picked up in KFOS until June. My current ETA from the dealer is several days just ahead of yours (9/25/22) but was cautioned that it could slip back or forward by weeks as the weeks progress. The dealer stated not to quote them but they were confident that it would not go past mid-October due to KMMC likely cutting over their production line to handle the '23 model year. My Telly build hasn't shown up in Failcat yet and the anticipation is building, for sure!

Sales person called me last night to let me know he was confident I would get my 22 that I ordered a bunch of orders came out with a delivery date of October. With that said, he told me the reason for his call was because I was "next on the wait list" and he had a customer back out and asked if I would like to take that car instead. It's a different color from what I ordered, but same model and add ons. I jumped on it because it beats waiting another 2-3 months. Looks like I'll be getting my car this week. We ordered in early March.

Oh congrats, that's exciting! I ordered a SX FWD in Gravity Gray with black interior. I haven't seen mine pop up in FailCat yet. And they didn't say whether it would still be a 2022 or not. I feel like Alliance is moving a lot slower than Hurst or FW from what I've seen on various forums. You guys seem to be getting your cars sooner. I just don't understand why our car is pushed back another 2 months if it was picked up in June and supposed to be here this month. That's disappointing. Enjoy your Telly!!
