However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. What did you pay for your KIA Telluride?

Picked mine up from Lev Kia in MA today. SX X-Line Gravity Grey. Paid MSRP ($50,480).

I agree, this front bumper in gray is just kinda annoying. Wife is thrilled so...
That will be the option with the next update on the car. Just like they did with the Nightfall two years ago.

I paid MSRP + $500 doc fee and taxes at Jones Kia in Fallston, MD today for a SX X-Line. I am an out of state buyer and this was actually a fantastic experience. Spoke with countless dealerships in my immediate area over the last several months that nearly drove me away to a Mazda or Honda, but will be leaving Jones good reviews and would recommend them. Ask for Athina Batis (sales manager) and Mike Fletcher (salesperson).

Are dealers still charging a market adjustment over msrp? Hard to believe, I can walk into almost any dealer around my area (with a few exceptions) and get below msrp without even haggling.
Still haven't made a deal yet as some dealers are still sitting on a lot of inventory and they will start to get desperate to move them. Still getting calls and texts from McGrath Kia its been over a month since I contacted them. I'm shooting for 5-10% below msrp and willing to wait til Spring.

Maybe Spring 2027 on a Telluride, Brother…

Nope, check out McGrath Kia of Highland Park. They don't let me post links here but you can check out their website yourself.
They have been riding on 25+ Tellurides for past 2 months in inventory. None stop calling, texting, messaging me for past month if I was still interested. Seems like they don't have buyers.
A few dealers that have markups or useless dealer add-ons are not moving cars at all.
When I do make my deal I'll post the documents, do any of you realize these dealers are paying interest (at today's rates) on every car they have sitting in the lot on a daily basis?
Yeah, it won't be too long until these dealers will get desperate.

Give them a price point that is fair and see what they say. Let them know to contact you when they are willing to meet you at that price. If you are in no hurry to buy, then you have the power. Same goes if you have alternative dealerships for inventory or alternative vehicle brands/models. Make them work at it. I bought a ‘22 SXP AWD in Nov from CT (I live in PA) for MSRP, which was originally marked up to $10K over at the time on their site.

am interested in purchasing a Kia Telluride, specifically the SX model. I am currently deciding between the Prestige, Xline, and Xpro trim levels, and I have a specific concern regarding the interior. My wife is not a fan of the white stitches on the black interior in the Xline and Xpro trims.

Could you please send me some pictures of the interior, particularly the stitching, so I can get a better idea of how it looks in real-life conditions?

Additionally, do you know of any dealerships in Texas that sell the Telluride at the manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP)? I would like to avoid any markups or additional fees if possible.

Why is it that some dealer sites don't/won't post a link to the Monroney Sticker? They'll show you their Dealer Addendum Sticker (the one with all the misc BS fees and 'Market Adjustment') but not the actual Monroney. I'm in the market for a SX Prestige X-Pro and have called around to some dealers and asked for a link to the actual sticker of a vehicle listed on their website. They usually respond with "How soon can you come in?" I tell them I won't come in unless I can see an actual Monroney sticker with an actual VIN on it and preferably in stock. Then they start to do the salesperson cha-cha. I think not posting the actual sticker opens you up to bait and switch and wasted time. Also, it hinders your ability to do apple-to-apples research and comparison. Posting the Monroney tells me that they are transparent in their sales operations and probably more honest in their business dealings. Frankly, I will not go to a dealership that does not post the vehicle Monroney sticker on their website.

At least, that's the way I feel about it. <Harumph>

In the process of buying 2023 Telluride SXPrestige XLine, Wolf grey in Illinois that was already in route to dealership. Finally found a dealer selling for MSRP after contacting two others that wanted thousands over MSRP. I call it the DGF (Dealer Greed Fee), they call it market adjustment. But I wasn't going for it. Plus I am asking for the military rebate of $300 which kinda surprised them after we settled on the price, so essentially this car will be $300 under MSRP.
All the dealers wanted $1000 down to secure the car. I am making sure the actually VIN is placed on the purchase order so they cant dick around with this process. Plus I put in a clause that said if the car does not come in on or before said time I have the option to cancel and get my money back.

So I test drove in January and was told about the 10K ADM. I feel like the sales person was pressed to get me into something that was coming in but since I wasn't in a rush I ordered an White with Terracota SX doe $52760 before fees and tax. ordered in Alexandria, VA.

Any updates? I'm in the Chicago area too and looking for a SXP Xpro

Atlanta/Georgia - On Feb 11, I picked up a
2023 TELLURIDE SX-PRESTIGE V6 AWD from Kia South Atlanta in Morrow, GA for MSRP of $52,925 plus $600 doc (junk) fee.

With tax and title out the door was $57,105.

I had spent 2 weeks shopping, and no one would offer me MSRP. Everyone had a "market adjustment fee" or a bunch of dealer-installed junk (rustproofing, vin etching, nitrogen in tires, gas in tank, Monroney sticker on window, protective plastic removed by hand, etc). :-).

Finally found someone who would do it just over MSRP and bought it. Thanks to this group for the price details during my shopping!

Just spoke to Athina today still doing MSRP, one of the few. Will be going to visit when the silver they have coming arrives….4/17

MSRP + $799 doc fee at Arapahoe Kia. no games. no bull. no add ons and no packages. Rima and Scott - did everything online and text. Car was shipped to me to Nevada! Highly recommend.

Try International Kia in Orland Hills. They do MSRP and no packages or other junk. They do require cash or their in-house financing. I put a $1k deposit on a SXP Xline that was not already spoken for and was supposed to be arriving 10-12 weeks later. It arrived in a little over 4 weeks. It was a great experience and most of it was handled over text/email.

My experience (SX Prestige): bought 3/15 from Pohanka Kia Salisbury, MD for MSRP and $499 doc fee. No add-ons, extras or bull. Did it all over the phone, had to "walk away" a few times but eventually got to MSRP (because I could wait.) No issues using my own financing, and they delivered the car to my house 155mi away. Was about to order from Safford Brown Kia Manassas for $1000 UNDER MSRP, but concerned about the time it would take (2-4 months, which may be getting better now) and financing rates (which did go up recently.) I would also recommend looking at Coughlin Kia in Lancaster, OH. Their inventory seems to pull from several dealerships in the area, but they also seem to have some vehicles they can't move quickly. They are routinely listing Tellurides (different trims and colors) for anywhere from MSRP to $1000 under MSRP (or even $1300 under if you add military discount. Check out VIN 5XYP5DGC5PG359971.) You can use a local 3rd party auto shipper to get the car to you (or fly there and drive back) if not local. I saw at least one person from NJ post here and had it shipped. Issue there is they want you to use their financing.

I have read and seen posts about some dealerships being more about volume than profit. Those seems to be the ones who will sell for MSRP (without a bunch of extra stuff you don't want.) I think other dealers are trying to boost their volumes so they can either get more inventory from Kia or more clout. I've never been in the car biz, so I don't know how that actually works.

I just got the sticker and VIN for my car. MSRP is $51,465 for 2023 Telluride SX X-Line V6 AWD add on were Terracota, Carpeted Mats, Glacial White Pearl Paint. out the door anti theft, fees and sales tax $57,306. Dealer in Fairfax, VA and ordered on March 15, 2023
