Dealer contacted me this morning. Finally got an ETA! SXP Black Copper/ Dune ordered 8/22 ETA 2/20. Hope it gets here sooner!

I hear you.The only reason why I went with Prestige was because that was the only way to get the Dune Brown Interior and I absolutely love that color.
It really looks luxury.They had a Green Moss with Dune Brown at the time of our order(August 7th and still waiting) which was a sold order and I fell in love with it.
My salesman did tell me that one of the reasons it may be taking longer is due to the Prestige Package.Not really sure why.I wouldn't think that the Prestige Package would add that much more of
manufacturing time since it should not take that much longer to add those extra features,or maybe it just has to do with priority orders as well as the good feedback and awards that the Telluride
has won so far.Either way,I have made up my mind to wait until mid January to get mine since that is what I was told.Unless time passes and I do not see the VIN by Mid to end December on our very helpful member's (Michell) sheet,than I will be forced to get a different car,but I highly doubt that this local dealer has not ordered because there is no bad feedback on any Telluride related experience with them from other buyers as of yet.There really hasn't been a lot of communication.I guess not all dealers care that much to keep their buyers happy and informed like KIA Muncie does lol based on what a lot of people here are saying

I got the moss green sxp with dune brown and LOVE it. I’ve gotten so many compliments on it already. The brown leather just looks soooo nice.

Congratulation! I ordered same model/color combination 11/14, and my dealer called me last Saturday saying my order has been allocated and estimated in March. I feel it's too good to be true, but the partial VIN they provided is close to yours, hopefully it's true.

What would be great is if they just would forego building dealership allocations for a while to catch up on the sold orders, just to make people happier. I know it'd be bad for the dealerships but 6 months if damned ridiculous.

Patience is not in my vocabulary! Lol I have been waiting for this truck since they announced it almost 2 years ago. I was stuck in a lease so I thought it was gonna be perfect timing. Sick of trying to put 3 grandkids across the back of a cadenza. Thank god I am a young grandmother or my back would be out for sure!

Yeah, it's a new experience having to order and wait for something for 4-6 months - not what is Americans are accustomed to. I have never ordered a car in my life. i was always able to find what I needed right on the lot. My dealer acted like it was no big deal and they would have my car on their lot. When I called about a year and a half ago they didn’t even know what a telluride was! I was willing to trade in early 6 months. They would call but never had exactly what I wanted then pushed me into buying what I didn’t even want. Finally I was ready to settle for a black with grey interior to be told 10000 over sticker! Lol I am not that crazy. I am not leasing this vehicle so I want what I want. I hope I get some news by the end of this month I was told 3 to 4 months. Just getting impatient!
