Where did you tap into to get your signal for your LC2 input?I have a SX with Harmon and Karmon. Wanted a deeper base so installed two kicker comprt 12s. Here’s how mine came out
Hey there! It's amazing to see all the insides of the Telly especially after I was just staring at the head unit asking myself how the heck am I supposed to tap into the wires behind the head unit?! lol But I see you clearly know what you're doing and figured out the wires are right by the kick panel; you definetly motivated me to try it myself but my question is did you actually cut any of the factory wiring? and which wires did you tap into for your high level input? Thanks for your post! The location of the floor harness where I got my high level input. Note the wire color change from one harness to another. This is at the passenger side kick panel. The speaker leads are the top 4 on the white clip. The driver side inputs are at the driver side kick panel.

I did end up cutting into the factory wires. If your not into that idea I am sure someone will come out with a T harness sooner or later for the plug at the head unit. The wires i cut are the top 4 on the white clip on attachment 4435 aka the kick panel pictures. The wires are red, blue, green, and orange. The drivers side are brown, white, blue, and yellow. On one of my other posts in this thread i have the kia paper diagram and it also shows where the wires for some reason swap colors at the clip.
Does it matter if I use the front or the rear speakers for signal to my amp?
100 percent yes. In my EX the rear is a much lower signal and I suspect the low end is filtered. Use the front lines for any bass amp install. Or any amp if you don't care about fade control from the head unit.
I was gonna locate that exact spot you showed a picture of. If I tapped in exactly at this point. Is blue still positive?Yes and the blue is positive on the upper wire harness and negative after it passes the kick panel. So positive and negative colors change depending on where you tap in.
Are you using a line converter or just straight to amp?^^^Also replaced all the door speakers which is the easiest upgrade to do on the telly...
Just want to say thank you for posting your install. I was able to complete my sub upgrade this weekend and it was thanks to you pictures and diagrams. I went through the firewall exactly the same. Used the speaker wires from the passenger kickpanel!! This thing bumps for what it is.On the diagram MF11 and MF21 are the wiring clip. So in that picture the red is + and blue -. Once you have the clip out you will see how the wire on one side is a different color. I have no idea why they did that.
$7000 been realistic. Out of my budgetAlso for the EX people, I found this: 2020 Kia Telluride Audio Upgrade – Elevated Audio
