  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. Congrats! Which dealership? That 16-20 week timeframe is a great estimate. Enjoy!
 
Was originally told 16 to 20 weeks. Later I was given an ETA of 10/26. It actually showed up on 10/21, I will pick up Monday morning. Gives them time to inspect and detail.

Ordered 7/16, so they beat original delivery estimate.

Hopefully all goes well Monday!

Who was your dealer rep at Hendrick Cary? Did they tell you what is your position in the queue?
Mine just gave vague answers, but its too early for me, I placed my order on 10/05.

I haven’t heard but I’m sooooo curious.
 
I never got news until they had a Kia ETA. I called a couple of times, got nothing. Really best to hang on with expected window. Best part is they were slightly faster than original estimate. Car was exactly what I ordered, nothing less, nothing more.

Yes, also curious how much of a heads up you get! We are three months into a 4-5 month estimate so I’m getting antsy.

I really didn't get a call. I made my routine check in call, where they told me: "you were on our call list, we just got an ETA". That was about 3 weeks before pickup.

Its really crickets until they get a factory ETA. To be fair to the dealers, they don't know until the factory tells them. All the dealers know is their past experience. Expect silence until the end.
