Average Wait Time for Production

Today i became an official Telluride defector. I put a deposit on the Palisade Limited. After 3 months of waiting to wait another who knows how many more months i finally gave in to the ability to see a car at a dealer, negotiate a monthly lease cost and say, "that's mine". There's no difference between a Palisade Limited and Telluride SX Prestige, epxcept that Palisade Limited actually exist and Telluride SX Prestiges don't.

We've given up on the Telluride XS. 3.5 months with no end in sight isn't fun any more. We leased a Palisade Limited. It was a little more expensive than the Telluride, but at least it actually exists and has everything the Telly has plus more. I hope all who are waiting for the Telluride are very happy very soon.

Finally the day has come ordered my blk/blk SXP AWD the very end of march and I get to pick it up today. just shy of 4 months. I had 4 different delivery dates given to me and it came on a different day than any of the 4 but its here..

Order first week April...order confirmed May 15th and was given eta 60days at that time. No vin or further update until today. My sales mgr forwarded my email he got from Kia that my Moss/Dune Telluride SXP will be built next week with delivery middle of August... appears finally on the down hill of this waiting game

I have the same vehicle black on Black SXP with towing. I just love it. Get lots of looks. Headlamps, fog lamps, amber running lights are awesome.. sooooo cool

I got my vin less than a month ago like June 25th I believe. but keep in mind my original delivery date was 6/28 it didn't actually come in until 7/16.

I am glad I still had until end of Oct on my current lease which helped with the stress of waiting

Just wanted to post this for anyone who is interested. Received this from my salesman last evening. Located at Moritz Kia in Ft. Worth. I am fairly sure the sticker is the same as the vehicle, but could be wrong.

Do you mean Moss Butterscotch. Dune only comes in the SXP. I am unsure how you were given a delivery date of Aug 29th already. I ordered Moss Butterscotch AWD on 05/19 (or around there) and it has yet to be accepted.

How is everyone getting to know if their car is in production. I ordered SX Sangria in Toronto on June 15th and the dealer ship gave us an estimate of 8 to 10 weeks , now they give no estimate at all.

I live in the states. I ordered a SX Dark Moss/butterscotch AWD on May 20th. I was notified August 5th that KIA had accepted my order. From here the dealership will give me a VIN and an ETA. I expect that process to take another 4 weeks give or take a couple weeks. I do not know if there is any difference in the process since you are in in Canada, but that is the way the US process has worked.

After ordering first week of April....confirmation in May....its finally here!!! Picked up my moss/dune SXP this week...and I am very impressed!! I previously had sx 2016 sorrento and this feels like such a step up in quality and luxury!!! Glad the wait is finally over!

We ordered Moss/Butterscotch SX with towing on May 10th in TX. We're still waiting....one of us more patiently than the other.

Our dealer informed us that they have an active invoice and that our Telluride SX "should" arrive 9/7/2019

Do you have your car yet? I ordered Sept 13th. So just curious. My dealer told me 6-8 weeks and if I could I would find another dealer but I am not wanting to start the wait over.

What is the current wait time experience in 2020? I ordered SX Prestige w/ Black Copper, dune brown, and tow package early February. Haven't heard anything.
