Average Wait Time for Production

I ordered a 2020 Telluride SX with the prestige package from a dealer in Texas over 2 weeks ago but the SUV has not been picked up for production. Is anyone else experiencing this wait time before it goes into production?

I order my SXP from a high volume dealer in Ft.Worth Nov.9th picked it up on March 21st exactly 133 days (19 weeks)

What is the current wait time experience in 2020? I ordered SX Prestige w/ Black Copper, dune brown, and tow package early February. Haven't heard anything.

Average is 4-6 months...but lots of factors (prior to the shut down) that can impact this. Dealer volume, number of allocations received each month, number in front of you in line at the dealership you are working with. FYI - if you haven't heard anything - most likely you will be getting a 2021 model as March was the last month to put an order into KFOS for a 2020. Those that did get confirmation their order was received in KFOS were getting May and June ETAs for delivery. So - if yours goes in next month - expect a June/July delivery time.

@JosephC I should qualify - the wait times I quoted were for the SX Prestige. They have the longest wait times. Highest demand (before the Coronavirus shut down).

4 months - deliver at 5 months.

One of the advantages of ordering an EX. They are much easier to come by than an SX-Prestige.

True, and I wasn't willing to pay the extra for the SX with features that were nice but not needed by me... The EX was a nice step up from my old 07 LS Tahoe <G>...

Ordered a white SX prestige in the beginning of March and was told 8 months. Haven’t heard anything since.

I put my 5,000.00 deposit on the SX Prestidge AWD with Tow on 1/30/20 got a email on 3/4/20 saying

Good morning just spoke to a Mgr about your Telluride SX and the process is we get a email from KIA on the Tellurium in production with your name the next step will receive a Vin# that has not happened yet Sir. Will let you know ASAP when it dose . Regards, Hank

I ordered sx prestige package with tow, gravity grey with black napa leather back in 11/2019 and have not received it yet. Delivery date was 04/17/2020 per the dealership and the car never arrived and now they cannot give a time of when is it going to be delivered.

If it's been produced, and was tied to a customer order, it will have a VIN already which you can lookup the window sticker and ensure specs are there. If the delivery was delayed, they should have information on where car is. If they didn't order the vehicle, then they won't give you a VIN.

They stated end of Apri/Early May for delivery. Have been watching Telluride Lookup religiously for CO031, and yet to see my VIN allocated
