Oh yeah -that dealership I went to doesn't do the plate transfer - first time I have had that happen so I have to go the DMV to transfer my own plates. BOO!

I went and did it so I am now all good!!

Really struggling to find cars at MSRP in Northeast Tri State Area (Northern NJ - SE NY). Even dealerships that have 10 vehicles in stock in the trim I want (EX X-Line and I am not too picky about color/interior) which is driving me crazy. Also generally getting extremely low offers for my trade which is a '22 Stinger GT2 Scorpion Package. Anyone here have a recent good experience with dealers and specific salespeople in that area?

Just as an example, Jack Daniels Kia (10 minutes from where I live) have a Dawning Red on Black EX X-Line for $12k+ over MSRP, just insane.

Not sure if you'll fall within the "service area" for Nutley Kia, but they sell at MSRP! I placed an order with them last week. No BS. I walked in, told them I'd like to order a Telluride. They asked what I was looking for to see if they had one on the lot or in transit but unfortunately nothing I wanted. So I just told them the trim, color, interior, and the 3 required factory installed accessories to place the custom order. I was fine with selecting 3 accessories since it's still much cheaper than any markup other dealers have. Once the selections were done and confirmed multiple times. I just had to pay 10% refundable deposit. Took about 1 hr. They estimate about 2-4 months for it to come.

They had a few on the lot, couple were already sold.

Yes I have! Actually went there a couple weeks ago and was told the same exact process you mentioned above. Really trying to avoid having a dealership hold on to $5k for 2-3 months but might have to come down to that, and you get exactly what you want which is a bonus.

Super curious what the turnaround time is for your order but hope it all works out for you!

Will have to check out Albany area for sure, thanks for the recommendation! Honestly just feel defeated in the search right now so might revisit later on this year, also having a tough time with the idea of parting with the stinger.

Actually spoke with one of their internet sales reps yesterday and she confirmed they only sell at MSRP so glad to hear a real life confirmation of this! Seems like I am not able to DM you (due to me being new on the forum I assume), but would love to hear about your experience and the process as a whole.

I am most likely going to wait until later in the year, early next year before getting into a Telluride at this point due wanting to keep the Stinger, but glad there is some light at the end of the tunnel of trying to get one!

When I called back in July, they estimated 1 month. But when I went in to order, they said it’s now 2-4 months but they said it could be earlier. Just depends what KIA decides to build. Not sure how true that is but I’d be completely fine if it came early haha

I had to do a complicated trade of my old car at Carmax down the road about 15 min and they even came to pick me up to bring me back to dealership to pick up my Telly and go!

I give high praise for the most pleasant car buying experience I have ever had thanks to the folks at Kia Santa Maria (CA). Enrique Arguijo was a great sales consultant. From the time I placed my order (July 21) until I took delivery (9/8) they were in constant communication, transparent in process, and very thorough in taking time to go over all the features in my Telluride. It works great except for phone calls. Anyone I talk to says it's not a good connection. When I go wired it's perfect. So I tend not to use it.

Just picked up a ‘24 EX X-Line at Bronx Kia for MSRP. First dealership willing to deal at MSRP that I've found in the tri-state area. Easiest experience ever had buying a car. Worked on the deal over the phone and had the car set to go when I came in. Worked with Julius Saez who made the experience a breeze.

Just bought a Black on Black 2024 TELLURIDE SX-PRESTIGE X-PRO V6 AWD at Rick Case in Duluth GA for MSRP this week. They had the typical Dealer Addons for $2690 and I said no way -- but I would go for MSRP. They treated me fairly on a trade-in.
