Thanks. I don't feel like it was a wasted effort on my part. I don't think I can take credit for the increased production this week, but hopefully it will give the Kia execs something to think about and not take it's customers for granted. Which clearly they are doing right now. As for the smoking, I didn't really by cigs. That was a poor attempt at a joke, because I was so convinced the Senior Regional Manager really meant what he was telling me. I was warned not to fall for the sweet talking car salesmen!! But he reeled me in. So all we can do is warn others how Kia treats it's customers, and even those of us who AREN'T yet customers. We can let them know how we feel by voting with our purses and wallets, as many on this forum have done, and walk away from the Telluride and purchase another brand, or sit out the wait. It's clear Kia doesn't really give a $h1t one way or the other!! And I'm not referring to the many awesome dealers on this forum helping eveyone with their vehicles.I hear you and feel your disappointment. Been there myself. Oh, I been there with the smoking too, don't. I smoked for 35 years and finally quit 20+ years ago. If I add up all the money that went up in smoke I wouldn't be concerned about the price of new car as that cash would have allowed me to purchase just about anything I would have wanted at this point in my life.
Looks like October is going to be a great SXP month for many on the forum!!!

Call it what you want. Omen, coincidence, influence or whatever.....the bottom line is ever since you did that, all of our SXP Non NF VINs popped. And I certainly appreciate your efforts.Thanks. Exactly, that’s why I said, call it what you want. The point is, they finally produced what we all been waiting for, for so long.Either that or that many here have mid to late October ETAs and Kia had planned on starting production around this time anyway.
Call Kia HQ in California at the number I posted the other day and register your complaint! Maybe increased volume of complaints will tell them we are seriously angry.Well I can tell you from my experience the SXPrestige buyers are not the only ones getting screwed over. I have a SX on order and my ETA just moved out another month. My order went into KFOS in July. This is ridiculous. Kia does not have it together. My Dealer is receiving Nightfall vehicles every week. 17 out of 26 vehicles in Sept Failcat for this Dealer are Nightfall. I would bet that nothing will change in the near term if ever.
Congratulations! I really thought it would hit in the next day or 2 based on your ETA and all the others popping up finally.Boys and girls, my VIN finally showed up on FailCat this morning. Drinks on me![]()
Congrats @ssmblazer! Happy for you. I'd like a bourbon on the rocks pleaseCongratulations! I really thought it would hit in the next day or 2 based on your ETA and all the others popping up finally.
Thanks @Kao! I really think if nothing else, your call and fax probably helped accelerate your own time-line as well as ensure it doesn't continue to slip further out. I just wish we had done this earlier when the initial waves of NFs were hitting and our ETAs were moving back. I'll save the drink until after I see yours hit! BTW, you should update your sig with the order/ETA details.Congrats @ssmblazer! Happy for you. I'd like a bourbon on the rocks please![]()

Same here.Well, well, well. Looks like over the weekend they found their GWP can of paint in the waaaay back of the stock room and decided to actually use it to make a few SX-P non-nightfalls! There were 8 made and none of them are mine. But some lucky person in Texas is getting a duplicate of my order. (My curiosity would love to know if they've also been waiting 11 months.) I'm sour that none of these 8 cars are mine, but hopeful that mine will pop up now that they've found their paint can and are making some non-nightfall prestiges.
