We have to be in August Allocations. For sure.
Yes - I would think so.

I think they got 4 VINs today, including mine! It was a good day for Lucas and Jason. The one group we haven't heard much from in all this is the massively long line of people at KIA Muncie. I know when my order went in - there were tons of people still waiting for their order to go into KFOS...many of them were SXP trims. Anyone know how they are doing with their backlog of orders? I have a feeling other dealerships should be caught up through July allocations.

(No dirty replies necessary!!)
Funny thing is I ordered from Lucas on August 27th and at the time I was told I am 24th in line... since then they got 3 allocations in September and 6 so far for October but when I checked with Lucas yesterday he told me there are still 20 SXP orders ahead of me. So I'm confused.Allocations should be out for October. I wonder how many more people are waiting for an allocation at Muncie.
Given your location in your profile, you might want to give @StephenCantrelle a call. He can now take an order at MSRP and has larger allocation numbers. You won't get the Costco discount, but might get the car faster and you won't need to pay shipping. Also, if you were planning on picking the car up vs. shipping, Indiana's tax may apply based on their tax code.Funny thing is I ordered from Lucas on August 27th and at the time I was told I am 24th in line... since then they got 3 allocations in September and 6 so far for October but when I checked with Lucas yesterday he told me there are still 20 SXP orders ahead of me. SourceAbsent a statutory exemption, all sales of motor vehicles and trailers purchased in Indiana are subject to Indiana sales and use tax. This includes sales where the purchaser intends to immediately register, license, and/or title the motor vehicle or trailer for use in another state.
I think it's because some of the cars that came in October are not SXPs, so your place isn't moving up in line if you are an SXP order. I was about where you were last Match and keep seeing VINs allocated to Muncie, but not all were SXPs, so I didn't move up that quickly. But hang in there! Hey @Kao, sorry I wasn't clear. They have received 10 SX-P allocations since I've ordered with Muncie. 25 total VINS have popped up since that time.I think it's because some of the cars that came in October are not SXPs, so your place isn't moving up in line if you are an SXP order. Hey @bcjenkins, thanks for the heads up! I spoke to @StephenCantrelle a couple months ago and they still had markup, I didn't know they dropped the markup recently.Given your location in your profile, you might want to give @StephenCantrelle a call. @Awade32, hey Awade32, I know you got your car from Muncie as well, did you have to pay Indiana sales tax?Given your location in your profile, you might want to give @StephenCantrelle a call. Dealer paid Indiana tax, Indiana has agreement with Texas, that tax money does to Texas, the tax rate is the same or else I would have to pay the difference. Still going through the registration process but I believe that I only have to pay the registration fee which isnt much here.@Awade32, hey Awade32, I know you got your car from Muncie as well, did you have to pay Indiana sales tax?
