You’re in the que which is a big step. I’m excited for you.Got my initial ETA today - 4/27! Hopefully it will come sooner, but this its exciting to see it move along.
CongratsGot a call from the dealer today. My T has just arrived. Picking it up on Monday before they start using it as test drive car![]()
That’s fast! Vin after production begins, then add 3 weeks till you pick up.The wait for my SX AWD (prestige in glacial white and dune brown, no tie package) hasn’t been too bad. I placed the order with Gervais Kia in Lowell, Massachusetts on January 13th. Today I got an ETA of March 30th. No VIN yet though.
It’s my understanding that the dealer had no one in line (for SX or whatever) at the time I placed the order. That’s fast! Vin after production begins, then add 3 weeks till you pick up.
Awesome news and first big step. Congrats. The wait for my SX AWD (prestige in glacial white and dune brown, no tie package) hasn’t been too bad. I placed the order with Gervais Kia in Lowell, Massachusetts on January 13th. Today I got an ETA of March 30th. No VIN yet though.
I think production/delivery has caught up and now the wait time is much less than 4 months ago. Mine was picked up on December with a March 8th ETA. Delivery was Feb 6. That's 2 months from KFOS to Delivery which is great. It’s my understanding that the dealer had no one in line (for SX or whatever) at the time I placed the order.
The timelines provided by dealers vary greatly, and I don’t think most buyers realize this. Some dealers can get them a Telluride much more quickly than others due to the widely varying lengths of dealers’ local waitlists.
It’s often unclear that it isn’t Kia’s timeline that’s being quoted, but the combination of the specific dealer’s waitlist (if one exists) plus Kia’s queue and production process. Many people will never realize they could have gotten their Telluride months earlier.
I sure will.Congrats. Enjoy her and send us some photos.
Wow. Congrats! Send some pics please.Mine should be delivered to my home in about 4 hours. Can't wait!
Glad to hear. Sounds like exciting times. Congrats again and I hope you and your family enjoy herNo pics yet, it was pretty dirty after being on the back of a trailer across the entire United States (shipped from FL to OR). Spend the evening removing the stickers, putting in the floor mats, and reading the manuals to figure out how everything worked.
Got the boosters and car seats installed. My 5-year-old was pretty excited to buckle in all by herself. My 4-year-old had a little trouble, she should figure it out soon enough. My youngest keeps calling it the "Zoom-zoom car" even though that's what we call my turbo Miata track car. I'm excited to not be driving my 03 Silverado 2500 every day anymore. Will be taking it over the mountains for this weekend.
While very frustrating, it’s a prudent decision. In no time you’ll be enjoying her for years to come. Stay patient.Telly delivered at the dealer, and after a painful 6 month wait I cannot get to the dealer (180 miles away) due to Ice storm in Texas...which doesn't look to clear until next Friday. No way I'm driving it until the roads are all clear. So I wait...
congrats on your new Telly!! I will have my vehicle shipped east to west (Or) as well. What company did you use for shipping? Did you opt for enclosed? If you don't mind me asking, what was the approx cost of shipping? No pics yet, it was pretty dirty after being on the back of a trailer across the entire United States (shipped from FL to OR). I'm afraid I don't know the answers to any of those questions, everything was handled by the dealer (NowCar) and the shipping was not itemized out in the sales price.congrats on your new Telly!!
