Thanks for the info….I’ll check it out! :)

I ordered mine from St. Cloud Kia on the 4th. I emailed 2 days ago to see if they had any new info but never got a reply. Do you have any idea what timeline for yours is? I’m just so excited it’s hard to wait!
Did they updated you yet?

Yes I did see that but was wondering if someone has a list because there are 63 pages of posts. I would be looking at the same dealers you looked at within a 6 hr driving radius of the DC area.

My build configuration for the SX AWD Prestige with the Nightfall and Towing packages including my accessories was $50780 using the 2021 Telluride build tool. I figured +$200 for the 2022 changes (actually +$300 total since they increased the Nightfall package by $100) so expected $50,980 before TTL.

I made a list of the Kia dealers in the area and this should help;
- DE dealers
- all in northern DE are above MSRP to order
- Martin Kia (DE005) ~29 KT/month
- Kia of Wilmington (DE0008) ~ 22/mo
- Felton Kia (DE007) ~ 11/mo
- quote me SX AWD P/T/N would be between $57k - $61.5k even factory orders
- VA dealers
- Parsons Kia (VA027) ~ 21/mo
- contacted online, but never got back to me....but others on the forum have managed to order at MSRP
- Safford Kia (VA062) ~ 27/mo
- quoted me +$4k markup on orders
- PA dealers
- Murray Kia (PA004) ~ 45/mo
- quoted at MSRP with no markups with only $394 doc fee...only reason I did not go with them is that they said the $500 deposit was non-refundable
- Bergey Kia (PA104) ~ 17/mo
- quoted me at MSRP with no markups, $394 doc fee (PA max i think) and $1000 refundable deposit
- MD dealers
- Buchanan Kia (MD058) ~ 26/mo
- quoted me $51k-52k for around my equipped and have been mentioned several times on the Good dealers list
- Nationwide Kia (MD004) ~ 40/mo
- quoted me at MSRP and not additional dealer addons. Charges $500 doc fee and $332 for titling and registration so including MD 6% sales tax, OTD price of $54,900.80 (will be an additional $106 due to Nightfall increase and tax)....but hear that they are now charging over MSRP staring 7/1
- ordered and placed deposit on 6/18

I even thought about ordering WAY out of state and flying out to pick up an ordered Telly so I included Kia of Muncie (IN026), i25 Kia (CO034), Bob King Kia (NC009), and Dorschel Kia (NY023) who are/were selling at MSRP with no dealer addons.

Thank you. This helps. What do the numbers for after the dealer ~XX/mo

Those are the approximate numbers of cars per Failcat period (depending upon production of course) that each dealer receives so about a little over 1/2 of the those per month. That way you can see if it is a high volume dealership. You may be better off being 10th in line at a dealership getting 20 a month rather than being 3rd in line at 2 a month.

A good tool is using the STATS option in Failcat (at top of screen) at set the time period to a year and Group by month and then enter the dealer code (use CAPS for state or won’t recognize) to see the history of each dealers deliveries.

That's good Info to know. Will the dealers mention how many people are on the list for the month before they order?

Only Muncie Kia (Indiana) participates in the Costco auto program. Go out to Costcoauto.com if you are a Costco member and put in the zip code for Muncie (47304) and fill out the forms. Better yet, contact Lucas Boehm (765-587-5421) and mention the Costco program and let him know you want to place an order. Since the program is $1200 off and they sell at MSRP, there is quite a backup and it may be a 6-8 month lead time, but check with Lucas as it seems that Kia is picking up the pace of production.

Hope this helps!
I typed Muncie's zip code into Costcoauto and this what it says:

Currently, we have not located a dealership in your area that has met our strict pricing criteria for the manufacturer you selected.

For your convenience, we have provided a list of comparable vehicles that are currently available with prearranged pricing at participating dealerships near you.

If you would like to choose another manufacturer, perform another search.

Do you think they aren't apart of the program anymore? I'm still going to email Lucas and what type of deal I can get.

Hi! Did St. Cloud already gave you an update?

It depends upon the dealer and even the contact there. Some will know while others may have no idea of how long the waiting list is. But most have been forthcoming in my experience.

Just got the update from my dealer that my order wasn't picked up by KFOS for July. I knew it was probably not going to happen since i ordered beginning of July. The dealer did mention that orders that got picked are showing estimated etas ranging end of September into early October.

Ordered an SX-P from Luther Kia in Bloomington on 3/20/21. Was quoted 4-6 months and was told it was most likely going to be 2022. Was notified on 6/23 that it was being built and it showed up on failcat 6/24. Original ETA was 7/28. It came in on 7/14 and I picked up today, 7/16. So just under 4 months.

Worst part of the process was dealing with the finance guy who tried to make me feel like an idiot for not getting their extended warranty etc. (I did not). This is my first time buying a new car so maybe that is common, but he definitely caused me to leave with a bad taste in my mouth.

Yep, that is what they do and how the dealer makes their money. Can't blame them, but a firm "no" should be all you need. They do have a script where they explain how this is such a great value, but all you gotta do is decline. Post some pics!

Ordered SX P April 16- or should I say asked to be placed in line. No contract no money. Dealer advised averaging 45 to 60 days. Car delivered on June 25. Delivery was 2022. Moritz in Hurst, TX. Markup about $900 over MSRP disclosed at front end.

I ordered from them a month ago. As I understand it, they are not officially running the pricing through Costco, but for the sake of shorthand, people have said they do "Costco"-like pricing.

So i ordered an ebony black SX AWD without Prestige package and i noticed on Failcat that basically no plain SX AWD are being made currently. All of them are either nightfall, prestige, or tow. Am i in for a longer wait bc i just ordered a plain SX?
