Update:
On failcat 10/13/2021 ETA was 11/13 changed to 11/20 then to 12/7 then to 11/30 then to 12/3. Received a call yesterday and I was told my car is stuck in the Lourdstown OH hub waiting to be delivered to the dealer in PA. No idea how long its been there or how long it will sit there. Also, yesterday I received an email that my Sirius radio trial was active even though the car is in OH and I haven't officially purchased it yet. I asked the sales manager and he said KIA made them mark it sold instead of in dealer stock so it wouldn't effect their ability to be allocated more vehicles for December. Everyone is blaming the other on why its not delivered. The dealer says the truckers aren't delivering and KIA says it the dealer. I think KIA needs to get their delivery logistics together before making more vehicles. Very frustrating to say the least. Now I will have to fight to get my trial subscription value out of it because who knows when the vehicle will actually get here.

Just received word expected delivery date is:
4/19/22.

I wish I could get an ETA from Gossett Kia South. I sent mine a text today and he said I still have no ETA which is odd if he is also saying it was picked up during this month's KFOS allocation. Stephen mentioned that they should see an ETA in the system and I ordered on 1/3.

I do however realize that we have different models though, you have a SX FWD incoming and I have a SX AWD incoming. There's also the possibility that my sales rep doesn't want to provide a date just yet. Who knows...

Yeh maybe it’s getting better instead of worse, some conflicting info. Bout time to get this nonsense over with so I sure hope so! Get about 20 on the lot of every dealer to choose from. Also the new logo looks awesome, way better, glad I got a ‘22.

Check failcat.com and see how many vehicles your dealers gets monthly. Lower volume dealers take longer. Not all sells people/dealers are equal. Some will tell you what place in "line" your order is with their dealership, when picked up by KFOS and some won't.

That is definitely on the lower side from what I've seen. There some dealerships getting dozens per month on the higher end. The dealer I'm working with gets about a dozen, as another reference.

Ordered mine on 8-12-21. Recent ETA 4-8-22 brings it to nearly 8 months. Dealer quoted me 6-10 months, so pretty close.

No, although that Wolf Gray SX AWD with Dune Brown is very close. I think it'll be another month before I would see a VIN pop up.

I ordered September 29,2021 and still have no ETA. The sales person says he should get an email when the vehicle is getting ready to ship to dealership but no other information until then. How do others get an ETA?

I don’t disagree with you. But I am going to afford them benefit of the doubt at this moment. They’ve communicated well with me and addressed various parts that I wanted on the build that aren’t available from the factory but we’re able to be ordered through their parts group. So for right now I’ll hold tight until this time next month after KFOS closes. I should absolutely have a delivery date by then and maybe even a VIN. If not, that’s when I ratchet up the pressure a notch.

We just placed an order with Keffer Kia 3 days ago. I wish we had went somewhere else. Before coming in I called to see what their markup was over MSRP. I was first told 7k over, but their lead time seemed the "fastest" at 30-90 days. When we went in we were told the markup "changed" to almost 10k over... This was just one red flag. I am hoping the rest of the process is a smooth one. *fingers crossed* So, NO, Keffer is not taking orders at MSRP!

Per my newest post tho, Courage Kia in Gastonia has a Telly in Black Copper/black interior with non nightfall sitting out on their lot for sale. Don’t ask me how! CraY seeing how this market is so hot.

I live down the road from courage kia and I feel like it's been there a bit. Got somewhere around a 7k market adjustment on it.

Placed my order with Hendrick Kia in Cary, although got a Sep estimate.

You’re right! A couple months ago it was 4,999 and found out they have raised it to 6,999! Smh. We went to SC and got a 12-16 week estimate. We shall see! Goodluck on yours as well and nice to meet you, neighbor! I pass Courage 20 times a week or more. Love my Gas House. Haha

Wow! That’s pretty quick! I ordered from Gossett in a October, it was picked up in KFOS early Dec, showed up in failcat (and verified with dealer) 2/9, and suppose to be here next week.

What dealership did you end up ordering from in SC? Might look into it if it would be faster than Sep
