IMO, a good dealer would have notified you at least 4 times. 1) When your order was picked up in KFOS. 2) when they had the 1st ETA, usually about four days later. 3) sent you Window sticker with VIN. 4) Sent you an Updated ETA. That’s what my dealer sent me.

Fair enough. And I don’t disagree. Additional communication would be a great. But I’m driving a new Telluride. At sticker. In less time than I was initially quoted. I’ll take it.

I think I am a little behind you (I ordered mid-October from Jake Sweeney). Assuming you meant Sept 2021. Haha. I was told in late December that mine was in the manufacturer's queue as well.

My Telly is now listed in dealer inventory as "Arriving Soon" on Kia.com. I'm going to stop by the dealership this week when I can, but does anyone know what "Arriving Soon" translates to as a time frame? My last ETA was March 29.

When you check failcat is the dealer correct in the listing of the match? If it is, I would call them. That's how I knew I had a VIN before the dealer told me. I went to the dealer with the VIN I found and they confirmed it was mine.

Yes, I found it on failcat on 2/24 and confirmed with dealer that it was my order by VIN. This is the next step I guess. Does this mean that it has shipped out from factory?

Yes, when you click on the vin on failcat it opens the window stick so you can see everything on the order. I took a screen shot of it and was going to send it to Mike to see if that is mine.

I ordered mine at the beginning of July last year and am still waiting. Not sure how to look anything up.

Apologies if this has been asked before (new to the site an a lot of comments!). The dealer has informed me that my order has been picked up on the KFOS site, however, no VIN or ETA has been given. Any idea on how long it typically takes for an order to get picked up on KFOS to getting a VIN and an ETA for deliver?

Also, the dealership sent a photo of the order in the KFOS system, does any know when a Priority of 001 has been assigned, what that means?

I'm not so sure because another one from the same dealership ordered just after ours came in today also. I think it's a dealership that isn't super popular and doesn't put a lot of orders in. No wait list

There isn't a way to look up your specific order on Failcat. It's a matter of finding your dealer and then watching for when a vehicle that matches what you ordered pops up. My order with my local dealer was placed on 8/31. I was notified at the end of February that Kia had finally picked it up with an ETA of 3/21. It popped up on Failcat on 3/2. I checked back with the dealer when I saw it and he had a revised ETA of 3/22.

If you don't mind me asking where are you located? That's a quick turn around from failcat to delivery.

My car popped on failcat on 3/5 . But I have an eta of 4/9. I'm up in PA. My guess is that your in the south, closer to the factory.
