Order to delivery time

My delivery eta just changed from 4/12 to 4/29..........If it gets pushed to May, i'll be asking for 2023 model since that should be released between May-June like it did last yr.

I heard from my back up dealer that they are not releasing the same time as previous MY’s and 23’s likely won’t be until much later in the year. I immediately went and searched this forum and I saw two other people had been told the same thing.

Kia may be switching things up this year!

I'm a little worried that my dealer is not being truthful with me. Ordered 1/21, and was given an estimate of 90 days. I followed up with the dealer at the end of February and now again at the end of March. Both times I was told there is no update on the status of my order. Nothing for my vehicle on failcat yet. Shouldn't there be some news by now if I'm at a month out from delivery? At least that seems to be the trend I'm seeing from other buyers here...

Odds are you are on a list to be picked up by KIA. 90 days seems to be very very optimistic unless they are trying to find a cancelled or already made one. The average wait is 6 to 9 months now.
I ordered on 10/19/21 and it won't get picked up until April then takes another 6 to 8 weeks to be built and delivered.

I just got word that my order from Nov 2021 still has over 130 orders in front of it. Still no ETA for me after almost 4 months.

Huffines Corinth. Said that there are just over 130 orders waiting for ETA before me. I am frustrated to say the least.

I also placed order for EX FWD trim with Huffines Corinth at the beginning of Dec,21. Nothing so far from them. Their dealer code in failcat is TX026. They get very few cars. It is going to be long wait i guess.

Yep it seems they have been getting fewer recently. Especially EX. They seem to mainly be ordering SK models. I did a quick Excel pivot chart yesterday based on failcat VINs and EX AWD which is what I ordered has really low numbers... like four for all of 2022.

We ordered September 21st, 2021. No eta from the dealer, no updates. Last month I reached out and the salesman said they were just touching September 2nd and then this month he told me they just finished August. It's making me a little concerned but we do see a vehicle with our exact build on 3/4 and called Kia in Georgia who states that vehicle is showing in stock with the dealer we ordered from. Except on their site their is nothing and per the salesman they have no such vehicle and nothing to provide us on our order at this time. It's a bit frustrating. What's the best route here?

Thanks. Just curious to see if was the dealer I ordered from. Not sure what to tell you to do about your issue. Right now it is a seller's market so they have the advantage with the supply being historically low. In days past you could easily shop around. Now we feel lucky if we find a dealer that still is only charging MSRP.

Facts! The dealer is selling at MSRP but it’s just the miscommunication and lack of clear info that is really unsettling.

I guess a positive is that you ordered an SX. It seems the vast majority of their orders have been SX modals.

Wondering if people can start posting when they ordered and when they received their Kia (or at least the vin).

I ordered an sx prestige with tow on March 13. Nothing yet.

Many of the threads here have gotten hare to follow woth with the side conversations, it would be helpful to just keep this to dates for people’s reference.
